It's still a pretty large gap between the capabilities of the system; "As close as possible" isn't saying much.
They did actually try. I believe they had come very close during development at one point, but they said theyhad to tone it back down because the framerate went all jittery, so the console couldnt handle it. My best guess would be they had tolower the resolution of the textures or something.Although I wouldnt quote me on that, I dont remeber where I read this exactly, all I remember was it was a proper interview.
Nevertheless, If you want 360 graphics, shouldnt you just play a 360 game? They said they would try and they did, but its not like people were expecting it to look like GeoW. If its any consolation, the game looks great in motion, by far the best graphics. The screens just dont do it justice, sadly.
A sequel probably will see splitscreen and 16 player online. They stumbled across some breakthrough at the end of The Conduit development.
