Are we allowed to talk about video games that aren't from the Wii in here? Because I just played Portal (for the PC, no system wars) and it was freaking sweet. Anybody who hasn't played it should buy it. Right now.

EPIC POST right there. I'm pretty sure Portal is one of the greatest games ever. I would even pay a full $50 for just that game alone, but it even comes with Half 2, ep. 1, ep2, and team fortress 2! IT'S ALL AMAZING! But seriously, everyone should check out portal if possible. The game mechanics and engine is just amazing, and it's such an original idea too. Hopefully they'll come out with a "full" version too, since this one is pretty much a demo they said. The producers said they wanted to try out the idea, and since it became such a huge hit, they're gunna do something big.

hello everyone i'm kind of new in this area, actually all i did was post an introduction post once, i'm not used to being on forums with lots of people, so i'm just going to devote myself to this section. if you want to know about me read the "about me" section on my profile.

I haven't even introduced myself yet.My names Alex better known as hoady I live in australia and currently in high school.Well pretty much I like to go to parties,hang with mates and then when im doing nothing i like to play some games but you know the normal high school hooligan.Since I was small i've always enjoyed games and played them quite a lot but no one really even knows that I do except a few of my mates when we would just play all day.

But yeah I've never gotten to deep into games like for example I hate the slang and have always refused to say it you know words like "noob" and "Owned" I can't stand it and then there is a person every now and then who just needs a great belting(online)and I've always kept to myself none of that clan stuff pretty much i just have always played for the enjoyment.And for the moment I'm turning 16 this year and wouldn't have a clue what i want to do in life but i will figure that out.Thats about it and cheers if you read this.

Judging from this paragraph, we have quite a bit in common. I hate internet talk as well, even though I've literally seen most of it come into being and gain popularity on these forums through the years. And I'm not big into clans and organized gaming. It has its place, but it's not really for me.

I also don't know what I want to do with my life, and I'm 23. I have ideas... but I have far too many of them. :x

Ohio State had a cake season. I'm not sure about LSU's schedule, but being in the SEC, it must've been more difficult than OSU's.

Too many people at my university were Ohio State fans. I learned to despise them -- or rather, learned to despise their Ohio-State-fan-ness. They're more than die-hard. It's not easy to explain unless you see a herd of them in person. I'm forced to root against Ohio State in everything they do because of the fans I know. Not all OSU fans are like that, I know, but the the ones I've met have left a terrible impression.

On the same lines as what Jason said, I dislike almost everything about the bowl system. Some of the less important bowls are nice for the smaller schools to get some publicity, but the big game bowl system is ridiculous.

I used to live up there until I was 6. I'm glad I'm not there anymore.

I do miss the snow though.

No, it's not only possible, it happens.

A few factors come into play.

1. Usually the younger cows are able to be tipped, though it's never been determined if it's the age or the size that plays the major role.

2. There has to usually be some unrest going on. If the weather has been bad and the cow hasn't been able to rest because of being startled it's easier to tip the cow since chances it'll be in such deep slumber that it wont know you're sneaking up on it.

3. uneven terrain that prevents the cow from getting it's footing at the last second when pushed

4. Luck, sometimes they do sometimes they don't

I'm not saying cows don't fall down, but it is impossible for a group of people to sneak up on a sleeping cow and tip it. Also, the fact that cows sleep laying down sort of kills the whole idea. And if it was possible, there would most likely be a video of it on YouTube, but there is not.

I read a lot on how things work. Plus I love learning what myths are true or not and how they came about, to me it's facinating.

I have TONS of useless knowledge that comes into play for things just this. I'm just the kind of guy that likes to know how things work I guess lol That's why I'm able to argue, whine, moan, whatever you'd like to call it about the consoles and the games on the systems. I just like to know everything I can.

Can anyone help me with my laptop problem. Ok since this might be hard for me to explain ill do my best since i don't know all the terms and whatever.

I have a hp pavillion dv6324us laptop. It was Vista home 32bit. Now the switch for the wireless wont turn on. So now i dont have any wireless in my laptop. I know the router is working cuz my wii can connect to it. The company who made the wireless network adapter is Broadcom. So the internal network won't load up. I pushed f10 when it starts up and it has an exclamation mark adn i dont know what it means. then it says its enabled but it never loads it up. IS there any way to fix it or do i need mroe explaining?
