BTW, I am gamecubepad, as in my old favorite controller the Wavebird Wireless(recently replaced by the Wiimote). I have been a huge Nintendo fan since I got my nes+powerpad in 1988. I started playing games on my dad's Amiga 2000. I consider the N64 to be my favorite system, but the Wii is quickly becoming my new fav. I waited outside 17hrs to get a Wii on release. It was cold. I was lucky to meet the mushroom master himself, Mario, at a Seattle Mariners. He mistook me for his green brother and was greatly suprised to find I was the one who had eaten the mushrooms. Here is a picture of some mushrooms my friend and I found(if I can load it). Mushroom Kingdom. Woohoo.

cant seem to quote the picture but anyways, WoW !!!

Ok well its official... Im in the market to buy my first house... guess there goes all of my money for Wii games and well everything...ag1052
A house is much more fun than games. It'll be exactly like The Sims, but with photorealistic graphics. Everything is better with photorealistic graphics. Just look at Target: Terror.
My brother bought his own house mid-2007. Let's just say that I'm infinitely jealous. I can't wait till I'm at that point in my life. But being the idiot that I am, I just had to prolong my education for another two years -- at least -- after undergrad. It's hard to make money when you're in school. Well, it's hard to make money and do well in school.... Hopefully I can find a new job soon that pays a bit more but still offers good part-time hours.
Good luck with house shopping.

I hear ya. My wife and I just got a house in June 2007 and ALL your money goes towards fixing it up and such. There are so many games I would love but I can't be frivelous with the cash flow. That's why on Birthdays and holidays I ask for best buy gift cards or games. Then I usually am picky about what games I buy so I don't just buy any old game; they have to last. You'll also notice you won't have as much time to play. My time is sometimes at night during the week, or late on Friday or Saturday when my wife goes to bed or I will wake up early onSaturday or Sunday and play for a few hours.
That being said, houses are a lot of work but SOOOO worth it. Best of luck to you. And remember, mortgage companies will give you a much bigger loan than you can actually afford. Just because they give you $250,000 for example, don't max that number out. They were willing to give me much more than I could afford. If I bought a house for the amount of money they were willing to give me I would be selling games instead of buying them.

So I was thinking to the future where I will be on my own in my own place, without a meal plan at school..and I calculated out my food budget. Well I found that I'll be spending 400 a month on food alone. This seems alarmingly high. Uh oh!_BlueDuck_Yikes! That is high. I spend about 1,600 pesos a month in my school canteen which is about 30 dollars

Oh and anything like wallpaper or painting ask me.
It's one of my specialties.
Jaysonguy
Avoid wallpaper if you can. If you want to get rid of it it can be a pain in the arse to strip. Painting isn't bad and you get immediate satisfaction when completed. The taping sucks though. Cute dog. OUrs is a 5 year gold golden retriever but she's a big baby. She's the best!

If I remember right, I spent about $70 per month on food when I lived in my apartment in college. How'd you manage to rack up $400?! That seems ridiculously high.... unless you have a family of secret ducklings we don't know about.
Am I the only lazy wiener that took more than a year to finally make a sig? It's not much but I figure I would advertise my relavent friend codes. roboccs
Nope. I haven't ever had a permanent sig, and I turn other user's sigs off. They just add loading time and wasted space to a page, in my opinion.

I was always wondering why I couldn't see people's sig when I was logged in but one day I was logged out without knowing it and I saw all these sigs. So I went to the newbie forum and got the answer to my question. It changes it up a bit. Some people actually have intersting quotes. I used to hate when I asked someone for a friend code and they said it was in their sig and I was clueless.
My sig is teh P1MP.
Nah, just joking, how was everyone's day? My parents played this sholveware game at a New Years Eve Party and they just bought it today. (They wouldn't know better.) I played with them for a little while and it was, actually not bad. There just needs to be other people there loling and stuff. But, yeah never really spend that much time with the fam as I'm always off doing my own thing, but shovelware brought us together. The name of the game is Game Party by the way.

??? never heard of it, what's it like?
I just check the gamespace of that game and it looks horrible and decent at the time. lolMy sig is teh P1MP.

Madpiratetom: 7 mini games, No story or anything, just 7 different games on the main menu, thrown together :).
rcignoni: My parents are cool with these people that stay home all day and play nothing but video games. They played this damn game and just had to have it. And that sig picture kicks mines ass.
m_machine: Yeah, while it's something horrible to look at, the gameplay can be rather competivtive. Especially when you wanna kill your dad in darts because he was an ass to you the night before.
Oh, anyone else have Wii forum pet peeves (for those who don't know what that is it's things that bother you about this forum)
1. People asking for games. First of all I think I hate the people who reply more then the people who make the starting thread lol Also why doesn't everyone just say "Chicken Shoot" for a week? That would fix the problem instantly.
2. People who are bored with the Wii. I honestly don't care most times when someone is happy with their Wii let alone unhappy with it. And why is it always someone with horrible sentence structure who can barely convey the fact that they never purcahsed anything for the system?
3. People who post their sig IN the message. For me even if Nintendo offers us random Wii numbers to add friends I would contact Nintendo just to make sure I don't get paired with those people. ("Hi Nintendo? ILoveZELDA's friend code is blah blah blah, make sure I NEVER connect to him. Thank you and Go Mario!")Plus most are garish lol
