omg! there is this horrible girl in my theatre class. and she went psycho today!!!!

it was hilarious.

and annoying...

but more hilarious.

she is one of those "PRAIZE JEEEEEEZUZZZ!" types. not very common where i live... but whatever.

she went off on this rant. it was crazy!

lzorro

rant about what?

"the immorality of the world"

and she dared to target me! calling me a f*g and such.

but i let her have it! and so did my friends. she got sent to the principals office. and whats so weird is that i was like one of the only people that would try to be nice to her. but then she found out i was gay so sad...

she is disgusting though!!!

Hahahah sounds like my day we had a comedian over at the school and he was doing his routine going around poking fun at the audience and then he got to me and asked me what kind of women I liked....lol It got pretty funny lol.

haha

me and my friends just kept laughing at her. she got sooooooo red-faced. i thought she would explode!!!!

and a=she started screaming at the top of her lungs about... like... i dont even remember! some bible thing. it was like something from a movie.

then the teacher stopped her. thankfully!

Is this a public school?

yup.

Whoa whoa whoa

Was she sent there for the remarks or was she sent there because she did the outburst?

If she was sent there for the outburst then yeah, you yell anything during class you're in trouble.

If it was for her remarks then while I don't agree with her she's got every right to let her feelings known on the subject.

Well the cell is still IN the room so it's not like you'll miss a call if something huge happens and for the hats? That's trying to teach people manners.

If the school can look at what that girl said as "bullying", then yes, she can get in trouble for it.

I think that "using religion" is a horrible excuse to get away with gay bashing.

public schools are crazy about stuff like that... my wife is a teacher and if she in any way (and I mean any) makes a gay or lesbian relationship any less valid than traditional marriage she will be fired automatically.

The hate is always going to be in the room though. School is supposed to prepare people for the rest of their lives and if you're gay you're going to get a lot of people very angry at you because you are. Now if a school is willing to censor someone's thoughts (and speech) on someone being gay then they also need to censor PP's being gay Once you say you're gay you have opened up yourself to both sides of the equation. Some wont mind and some will but you're the one that opened the door to it. Hate is a normal part of life and it can be used for good or bad. The idea that a school wants to take a moral highground on it is what I find offensive.

Well they're the same so there's no worry of that, I doubt she's going to mess up 2+2 either. This is less of a black and white issue.

Your right it is preparing young adults to the real world. But it applies to both not just the victim but the aggressor as well. She has to learn that if you go around hating on people because they are different chances are she'g going to be disciplined.

See, the problem is that people are obviously going to abuse "free speech" if gay bashing is acceptable in schools. Kids can be some of the most evil, heartless creatures on the planet when they get together with a bunch of friends, and if the schools allow this kind of behaviour to happen, it will only make things worse.

Schools are teaching these kids to be positive members of society, not negative.

Yes, there will always be those people who hate (for whatever reason, is beyond me), but that doesn't mean that the schools should just allow the teachers to sit there and listen to some kid tear another kid apart, just because he or she is different from them.

Yes I do type a lot, Peter, yes I do.

And by the way, it's always the parents fault. Parents have an enormous influence on their children. I mean, take Santa for example. If it weren't for our parents, we wouldn't have believed that it was possible for a man to fly around the entire world in a night, stopping at every house (provided you're Christian) and drop off presents.

Man! How many people have had their wisdom teeth removed? I have to wait another month before I can even see a dentist who can recommend someone for the procedure. Yaaaaaarrgggggghhh. At least I'll be able to play Endless Ocean, No More Heroes, Nights Journey of Dreams and Super Smash Bros. Brawl until then. What's for dinner?

They weren't teeth yet, my dentist could see that my teeth were really good and he's like "Jason we need to tear your wisdom teeth out of your face as soon as possible the second they show up enough" and I'm like "oh no that's ok I hvae to hit myself in the groin with a 2x4 but thanks anyway"

So they finally started to really come in at 13 and by 14 they hurt all the time but I just lived with it until I finally got the nerve up enough years later.

i guess you could say its unfair.

but really isnt it just as unfair that they are able to take your cell phone or hats away?

Jaysonguy

Well the cell is still IN the room so it's not like you'll miss a call if something huge happens and for the hats? That's trying to teach people manners.

Well I think the basic part is that hate isn't allowed...

The idea that a school wants to take a moral highground on it is what I find offensive.

i dont like this gay guy at my school. NOT BECAUSE HE IS GAY just because he is annoying, a teacher suck up, ans thinks he is better than everyone else.

Also peterperson, if a good looking person can call you pete, and a sexy person can call you P, What can Jake Jillinhall(dont care how to spell his name) call you?

Anyway on another topic, i get my braces off next WEEK!!!! i have been going to the orthodontist since grade 3. got my braces in grade 7 now in grade 10 i finally get them off.

Fear > pain, every single day of the week lolJaysonguy

Yeah, pain is definitely overrated. Whenever I show people this:

they always ask if I yelled or cried when I slammed my finger in a car door. The honest truth is that all I did was clench my teeth for a few seconds. I was at work helping some customers at the time, so I didn't want to take their attention off what they were doing. So I pretended like nothing happened, and I was absolutely fine. The only time I even acknowledged the pain that day was when my finger was warming up (it was a cold day, in the teens) after I went inside. I had to get up and walk around because the pain was so intense. But once it had warmed up, it was fine again.

But people don't believe me when I say it wasn't that bad. They say I had to have reacted in some way, that there's no way I could've just hidden my reaction to such a terrible feeling. The same thing happened when I broke my wrist in middle school; I heard it crunch and knew I was hurt, but I just walked off the football field and sat down. I didn't mind the pain - I was more worried about my teacher finding out that I'd been playing tackle football in PE.

My point is that at some point in my life, I realized that pain is only your body telling your mind that something is wrong. If you already know what's wrong, then you can pretty much tell the pain to shut it. You can still feel it, don't get me wrong, but it won't bother you nearly as much.

Jaysonguy

Do wisdom teeth have to hurt as a sign that you need them out? I ask this because mine have been coming out for a while, but it's never hurt me in any way. I mean, so far they're a little more than half way out (my teeth have always come in late, if you were wondering why a 22 year old still has teeth coming in), but I dunno. Is it possible that I won't need to get them removed?

No, mine were coming in east/west instead of north/south so it was like "Yeah those gotta come out" lol

Even when they weren't giving me pain but the dentist saw the direction and wanted them out

Let's not lie to ourselves here. He wanted the teeth out because he wanted the money. He could care less about your teeth.

Fingers aren't supposed to get that big, Jordan.bob_newman

It was probably broken. Luckily it was in a spot that didn't hinder movement whatsoever.

This is what it looks like now, about a month and a half or so after it happened:

The finger is back to its normal size now. I figured out that the nail was crushed under the skin and conformed to the curve of the door, which caused the big lump under my skin before. Combined with the natural swelling, it made my finger absolutely huge.

From what I can tell, though, the nail is still intact, so this lump will just grow out eventually. Apparently that requires more effort than usual because it's taking a lot longer to grow than my other nails. It draws a lot of attention from random people, though. I'm used to the quick intakes of air between clenched teeth now.

Your new nail is under that nail. Chances are that you broke the nail clean off from the rest of the nail (somewhere under your cuticle) but still stuck to the skin where the nail sits. As your new nail grows out some more, it'll push the old one off.

That happened to me one time. I was 6 or 7, and I was throwin' the ol' baseball around at the park with my dad. Anyway, he threw one really high up and it landed on my finger and somehow broke the nail. It took a while for it to regrow if I remember correctly, but it'll come back, don't worry.

That's what everyone tells me, and that's what I assumed at first. But I can see where the unaffected part of the nail is attached to the lump you see above. I can pull back the cuticle a bit and see it. And there's no blood plastered against the back of that part of the nail.

I think I slammed it at the perfect place in my finger to get a unique situation out of it. Everybody says "that happened to me and my nail fell off," yet they all contradict themselves when they say "I've never seen anything like that."

Only time will tell, my friend. I'll keep a daily update via my blog.

Just kidding. How pathetic would that be...

More gross than pathetic.

Actually, no, it'd be equally pathetic.
