i guess you could say its unfair.

but really isnt it just as unfair that they are able to take your cell phone or hats away?

alexh_99

Well the cell is still IN the room so it's not like you'll miss a call if something huge happens and for the hats? That's trying to teach people manners.

Well I think the basic part is that hate isn't allowed...

The hate is always going to be in the room though. School is supposed to prepare people for the rest of their lives and if you're gay you're going to get a lot of people very angry at you because you are. Now if a school is willing to censor someone's thoughts (and speech) on someone being gay then they also need to censor PP's being gay Once you say you're gay you have opened up yourself to both sides of the equation. Some wont mind and some will but you're the one that opened the door to it. Hate is a normal part of life and it can be used for good or bad. The idea that a school wants to take a moral highground on it is what I find offensive.

i dont like this gay guy at my school. NOT BECAUSE HE IS GAY just because he is annoying, a teacher suck up, ans thinks he is better than everyone else.

Also peterperson, if a good looking person can call you pete, and a sexy person can call you P, What can Jake Jillinhall(dont care how to spell his name) call you?

Anyway on another topic, i get my braces off next WEEK!!!! i have been going to the orthodontist since grade 3. got my braces in grade 7 now in grade 10 i finally get them off.

IS he better than everyone else? jk :P

its *Gyllenhaal! hmm... jake can call me "honeybuns" :P

thats like forever!!! glad your gonna have beautiful teeth now! :D

i was born with perfect teeth!

*feels special and blessed*

Happy Birthday, I knew it was yours also because of your hint a few weeks back in this thread.

You said the word "the" and I KNEW that no one would use that kind of language if they weren't trying to draw attention to themselves in the event of a birthday.

I followed the clues!

Hey Jordan I have a question.

Ok this site is for 13 and older but how about crazy people that might be in their 80's but they say they're six. Now in this instance they'd be a paying customer so you'd be able to check their info. Would they be left along to post in a land of bewilderment not knowing that they're actually 74 years older?

So, they're mashing all of the past consoles into one forum? It'll be all over the place, much like this off-topic thread, but on crack...well, on more crack.

My firends used to beat me on my birthday. :(

No, seriously though. Birthday beats instead of presents. Nice friends, huh?

One time, it was my friend's birthday, and he passed out from getting punched in the stomach.

Good times.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Yeah I think we've all been there. I had a friend who taught karate and I've always been pretty durable so we had a thing where I'd try to damage him in some sort and he'd try to do the same to me.

Ah, growing up...good memories.

I used to play...I guess we would call it "fight"...basically, we each got a Ninja Turtle action figure, and we'd make them "fight" eachother. And then, when you got really into it, you started lifting your Turtle up off the ground a little, then your friend would lift his a little more, then it would go back and forth until you're really just hitting eachother in the hands with the Turtles, then one of you would say "No! They have to stay on the ground! Turtles can't fly!" And then you would repeat the process.

It's better than what's currently available for most of those older consoles - nothing. And the last-gen forums hardly get any activity anyway.

I still haven't gotten clarification from the admins if the current-gen console forums will allow for discussion of any kind of game that is playable on that console, such as all the VC games in the Wii forum or all the XBox games in the 360 forum. I'm pushing for allowing talk of any game that is legally playable on the console in its forum. That just makes sense to me.

As for your 80-year old user question...... what?!

Well from what I read in the "Ask The Mods" area I see some people who have their account closed because they're under the age minimum.

Well what happens if a 80 year old guy isn't right in the head and says he's 6? Would his account still be closed or would it be like all the Mods know that "Walter just isn't right" and he stays?

How the hell am I supposed to know? :P

We'd probably just have a discussion about it as a community team and come up with some way to deal with it. That's always our strategy when it comes to strange situations.

[QUOTE="Jaysonguy"]Well what happens if a 80 year old guy isn't right in the head and says he's 6? Would his account still be closed or would it be like all the Mods know that "Walter just isn't right" and he stays?Jaysonguy

How the hell am I supposed to know? :P

We'd probably just have a discussion about it as a community team and come up with some way to deal with it. That's always our strategy when it comes to strange situations.

give an example of a strange situation!

im interested! :P

I don't think he's allowed

It's like a psychiatrist going into the faculty lunchroom and going "So you wanna hear CRAZY?"

oh right.

"confidential" and "super important" mod stuff....

Hey guys, Valentine's Day is coming up, and my girlfriend and I usually don't do anything special on it (we're just not that big into mushy, romantic crap). But this year, she's been so busy with her new university and homework and she's always pretty stressed out, so I thought I would do something nice for her to let her relax for a night.

You got any ideas? Anything will be great.

Anyone have one of those days where you don't feel right all day long and maybe even a little mopey but you're not sure why.

Then later on in the day something happens and you finally have a reason to feel bad and you feel even worse?

I'm having one of those days

Exactly. As much as I think that a peak into the moderation world would help "regular" users understand the whole process a bit better, it's really in everybody's best interest to keep that stuff private.

But if you're really curious, try browsing the Ask the Mods forum. Some of the threads with more than a couple replies are usually interesting to read. ;)

Oops, please disregard my last post then. I'm sorry you're not feeling well.

I totally know what you mean though.

Actually, yesterday I was having one of those days, but then during my last class (6:30 PM - 10:00 PM) we were watching a movie about the end of the world, and then when we got out of class it was dark and a little rainy (you know when it's just drizzly, but not pouring? I love that weather) and I was walking home, and for some reason it made me really happy.

Ahh no sweat Bob, your topic is a real one mine is like "Today kinda sucks even if I DID have mac and cheese"

Thanks Pete

I think you know her best. There's always little things that come up in a relationship that get glossed over for a bunch of different reasons. Just pick up on the little cues and take one of those to a grand scale. Something that she saw while window shopping one day that she didn't come right out and say she wanted but she lingered on for a long time then kept going.

That sort of thing.

Act on what you have the power to act on now, you'll never know when you'll run out of chances.

Oh, so, I guess the moral of my story is: go for a nice walk outside. Take the quiet streets, and if possible, sit on a swingset and look lethargic. It works in the movies.
