I don't mean to challenge your judgement and I apologize if it comes off that way but did the rabbid poster get his posts removed for insults (I know he insulted mods and high level users) or because he was considered annoying? I mean though he was clearly wrong in his stereotypes of other users he was fairly funny on his posts about rabbids. I mean he kind of livened up the place a bit and reminded me what forum posting was all about. Fun :). I realized this probably should have gone into a PM and I apologize for the inconvenience. What I've been meaning to say is that he was just having fun and people chomped down at him "rabbids should become extinct" (I don't think that was the word for word post) but I mean when he kinda of had his feathers ruffled it was no wonder he reacted the way he did. I mean couldn't he have been gently more chided and perhaps shown the right and wrong way to post instead of just pretty much told to "go away"? Isn't that the responsibility of us posters to help out the others?

Not to speak ill of the departed, but judging from his reactions to things, I don't really think he had much desire to change his way of acting.

And in case anyone didn't actually check, rule #1 of this thread is "No spamming - 'Off topic' doesn't mean 'random and pointless.' Start a new discussion or be a part of an on-going one." The rabbids stuff is random and pointless. I wrote that rule specifically with stuff like that in mind. :)

Very true, theres a huuuuge backlog of games I want, most of which are pretty cheap now :D No More Heroes 1 and 2 were like 12 or 13 dollars each! Muramasa and Little Kings Story have been on my radar, think those will be the next two I buy..

I am gonna write it like this.

hello jasonguy im not really here to argue it just stating my opinion on the matter as I seen he is gameover or whatever.

I got a letter from him before he got banned don't know what he did to get banned but i guess he didn't take my advise and go to an administrator.

This moderator here clearly is abusing his power to control who he likes and who he don't and spammed him with terms of use violations.

He got in trouble for his posts ok fine but one violation is good but you keep doing it for every post after is not right it takes time for the first violation to go through so he didn't know what he was doing if anything wrong.

Then every post he got one. So if he violated with 7 posts he got 7 terms of use vios. is what he is saying. He even got into trouble for his signature with santa on it and merry christmas what the heck is that about. He even got his signature deleted repeatedly by the mod he told me its all in the letter he wrote me without a violation just deleting his signature.

Also he got one for asking the mod board for reasons why he is getting violations and to take off the vios he got and doubled posted and got violated again im sure by the same person on the Wii forum stopping him from telling his side of the story. And kept spamming him with violations threating him really that he will get banned.

Also got a violation one with a USER deleted post that means this moderator wasn't reading his posts just violating him without reason.

This is all behind the scenes this mod was doing I seen them he sent them to me so you cant say it didn't happen. He needed to go higher up this mod even deleted his asking the mods boards for help posts and everything.

Just think the users who are still here and not buddy buddy with the mod needed to know what was going on. Enjoy the Wii forum cuz i won't be coming on here knowing this stuff.

If an administrator is reading I think you need to warn him for violating his powers or strip him of it. I am sure this post will get deleted as he dont want this to get out. Would of been good to explain to him on the moderator boards instead of deleting his posts and violating him again without ever explaining yourself is COWARDLY and SISSY if you ask me. You have been warned everyone better start being a suck up.

Playing RDR. John Marston is an utter idiot. Had I been in control I would have been able to put a bullet in Dutch at least twice by now. More games should be like Half-Life in regard to cutscenes. Head_of_games

Half-Life also prevented you from killing plot-necessary characters in cutscenes; it just used different means to do so. :P

@erickb1983, i'm not entirely what happened before his banning as i can't see his moderation history or posts, but i can tell you one thing: the reason he got banned was not because of the alleged disruptive posting. it was because of his suicide post.starwarsjunky

If I'm that abusive and power-crazed an individual, then why doesn't he contact Customer Service? That's what one should do in order to contest one's banning, or to report a moderator who is abusing his powers.

As moderators are forbidden from discussing other users' moderation histories, all I will say further on this matter is this: it is not unusual for someone to lie about his moderation history when talking to another.

If, for every single violation, moderators had to check whether or not the violator was a paid user and alter their handling of the violation accordingly, we would not even have enough time to do our jobs. Just from a practical standpoint that accusation makes no sense, let alone everything else. I don't have any clue who is a paid user and who isn't.

no i was just joking there like for gamespot and him being a paid user they would let it slide more for the money not the moderators they just doing there jobs its not an easy job i would imagne.
