oh i thought you meant the OT boards. tho i'm kinda surprised i didn't get modded there yesterday lol :P

I got moderated for my first time yesterday. If only I hadn't quoted that one user

yeah, you gotta be careful when quoting. when in doubt, delete or censor the word or post. i all but insulted someone and didnt get modded for it :) lol but in my defense he literally stated that he cared about nobody but himself, he refuses to tip or do ANYthing nice for anyone, and steals from his past jobs, and lived off of welfare and didnt feel bad about it at all. doesnt care how anyone thinks of him. he would probably kill a person just to steal 5 bucks from them. and refuses to pay taxes.

I did go to delete it but a mod got to it seconds before I did (or so it seems).

But wow that dude needs to go back to school and learn to be a decent citizen or something because that sucks.

i mean when you're quoting him, just delete everything thats questionable. and yeah, maybe its just the way he was brought up, but it was ridiculous. honestly, i blame his parents. he was obviously brought up to believe that way and if he has kids(heaven forbid), i'm sure they'll be the same way :(

Assassins Creed glitch. I killed a target with poison but it didn't register that he died and the target icon was floating over a corpse so I had to desynchronize myself.

You should've tried throwing him off a cliff. Maybe he was just knocked out. Worst case scenario, you get to see some funny ragdoll Temple of Doom styIe.

One of my favorite things to do is kill a guard from a really high spot and watch him fall all the way to the ground, then watch the people gather then run. They never bother to look up.

I do that too. But no he died. He did his little poison dance and died and was all rag dolled up on the ground but the icon was over his head and it wouldn't let me pick him up. It was a weird glitch. And yeah I love this game too. It takes me so long to beat because I always get sidetracked on my way to the next mission because there's so much fun stuff to do.

I need to hang up some Christmas lights. I should have last week when the weather was warmer here. Now it's in the mid-20's and snowy. Whoops.

I just beat Kirby's Epic Yarn 100%, it took me longer then I thought it would. 22 hours 18 minutes. Well, now that Kirby is complete, I'll be waiting for DKCR and probably Epic Mickey for my birthday.

Site missions are plentiful in both but none are required, ever, to beat the game. I never really did them in ACII because they felt kind of samey to me but I've been doing them all in ACB. I like them a lot more. And in other news, date acquired. I thought I had a date earlier but that was more of a friend thing. This time I used more direct wording and there can be absolutely no misunderstanding. The term I used was date, she said yes she'd go on a date with me, therefore I have a date, with a female, a cute one, whom I rather like, and life is good, roommates be damned, don't care anymore, too happy, no more tests til finals, no homework, only assassins creed and female date time, happy days, can't stop run on sentence, too happy for grammar, happy, yay.

WreckEm711

Yes. The structure was entirely overhauled for AC2, and Brotherhood follows suit but with even more to do. It gives you a core string of memories that advance the story, and each one is totally unique. But those are treated like missions, so once you complete one, you can do anything you want until you go to the next memory start. As you get farther in the game, you get more and more options, like basic assassin contracts, guild missions, viewpoints (and the OCD stuff I really like to do, like find treasure chests/flags/feathers, buy shops, read info blurbs about every landmark, etc.).

The newest awesome addition is that some viewpoints are occupied by the enemy, so you have to infiltrate their zone, kill the captain, then climb the tower and light it on fire.

There's also stat-based objectives that you can do for a higher guild status, like kill ten guards from horseback, hide five bodies in a haystack, etc. There's a TON to do in this game, and the good thing is that it's all optional. I do most of it because I love AC so much (even the first one with its repetitiveness), but you don't have to if you don't want to.

1. Internet went down for like 3 hours. For some reason, you can't play Indie games on Xbox when that's so.

2. Major in Reach!

No, not even close. I've played for probably around 20 hours, and I just finished the mission that introduces Leonardo's war machines, though I haven't destroyed any yet. I get the sense that I'm still not very far into the game.

I've purchased all the available shops, there are three Borgia towers left, and I've found five parts of The Truth. I'm not really doing any of the guild objectives intentionally because it seems like most of them will be accomplished naturally. I've also been doing some of the virtual training.

Some of the landmarks have a hidden spot that you have to find with Eagle vision. They have a special icon on their description picture. Once you find the spot, you climb inside and do some ridiculous puzzle-solving to get a half-second clip that's part of a whole that doesn't really make sense until you get all of them. If it's the same as AC2, you can go to the database to see which buildings have the hidden spot. Look for a glowing chunk of the wall when you're searching for it in Eagle vision. I guess they didn't really do a good job of explaining it in this game for people who didn't play AC2. But none of the story really makes sense if you haven't played AC2, I'm guessing.....

Sometimes, yeah. There's a bunch of different types. I already had to cheat on one of them because it made no sense to me whatsoever, and it made even LESS sense after I looked up the answer. Usually the puzzles are pretty subtle and clever, but I just couldn't wrap my mind around this one. It was one with a code wheel, but the code wheel was also encrypted and the hint made no sense.

Hmm I may pick this one up after a price drop, the first two dropped really quick, might get all three and play through the series :D

I can't find the truth things. I had no trouble finding them in ACII but I can't find them for my life in ACB. I've managed to find the one on the pantheon and that's it. I ran around the colusseum FOREVER looking for the damn thing and could not find it. I'm probably going to ignore them til I beat the game then go find them because they're too well hidden this time around. And yeah they get impossibly hard sometimes. Some of the decoder rings in ACII were insane, and that was the type that I was best at solving because even without the clue I could math my way to the right answer.

I ran around the colusseum FOREVER looking for the damn thing and could not find it. I'm probably going to ignore them til I beat the game then go find them because they're too well hidden this time around.snowman6251
I haven't had trouble finding any of them except on the Colosseum. I found it eventually while I was randomly running on the top wall. It's on the outside wall right near the top, though I can't remember which side it's on.

lol, well it's a huge building. I don't think you can see it from ground level, so you still have some searching to do.

AC Brotherhood is surprisingly current in its references. A couple that stand out are references to BP and to the Citizens United case. There's also the most random reference to the US health care reform bill ever.... In one of the landmark descriptions, it describes how a small area near Rome had a wall built around it AFTER it was attacked... and then it says that the situation bears a striking resemblance to the US health care bill. :?

The health care bill? That seems like it would be a more appropriate reference to TSA regulations.

Yeah, its especially noticable when running around Santa Destroy, it was hurting my eyes with how blurry it was, the component cables cleared it up a LOT. The jaggies are more noticable, but it looks infinitely better than the blurry mess it was. The text and menus are also noticeably sharper.

Here are some comparison shots I took (Sorry for offscreen, tried to get them as matching as possible)

Regular cables:

It's REALLY noticeable in motion, especially during combat and riding around on the bike

That's exactly what I was thinking. Maybe that blurb was written in the hours between the first Senate vote on the health bill and the terrorist with explosives in his undies.

I can't believe Final Fantasy XIII was the only game to go platinum in Japan this year. I feel like games sell 1 million copies every week here (exaggeration but still...). Must have been a slow year in the land of the rising sun.

I find FFXIII very confusing; it's received rave reviews yet everyone I meet seems not to have enjoyed it.

I wonder if it could have anything to do with websites getting paid for good reviews.
