Question. If you are such a huge Star Wars fan why do you have the main villain of what is unquestionably the worst Star Wars movie in your sig? Why not a Han Solo or a Darth Vader or even a C3PO?

Maul is still awesome even if he came from a bad movie

as you said, he may have came from a bad movie, but he's probably my favorite villian :P i wish he wouldnt have died :(

[QUOTE="clicketyclick"][QUOTE="snowman6251"] Also I'm playing on hard and with the exception of a select few encounters I still think its been pretty easy this far (pretty much if the guys with the knives aren't there, its a joke).

Just wait till the guns and the tasers come out. ;)

They already have guns and that's easy; attack from above. As for tasers I've seen two shades of knife guys. Maybe one of them was actually a taser guy. I really can't tell. Regardless I hate the knife guys when they're mixed into a normal group because I have to stun them with the cape before I can beat them and I can't counter them. So I knock them to the ground and try to do that ground take down thing so they can't knife me when I'm punching the normal dudes but the normal dudes usually punch me off them so I go :( Also I've done two scarecrow sections so far and platforming with Batman can go die. I'm like "Batman walk forward to the edge of the cover so you can start running when he looks away" and Batman's like "Ok I'll keep stepping after you let go because my movement control is not precise" then Scarecrow is like "Omg Batman! Om nom nom".

Christmas cleanup time!

The holiday is over so this is the day you take care of laundry and pick up wrapping paper and find places for your new toys

I need to make some food and I think that one of my uncles left a card and present for my Mom so I have to toss that if true, I don't allow her to have contact with her side of the family. Almost made it clear but one snuck through the cracks! lol

And Hammy Davis jr doesn't look like he's got many days left :(

Who else is putting everything back together after the holidays? Any speed bumps along the way?

Now that I'm done with AC2, its time for Arkham. Then I'm done with Xbox for a while, until Bayonetta - Which I'm not getting at release date.

Why is your mom banned from contact with her immediate family? Are they all Neo-Nazis or something?

Nah, they're not good people

And I mean that's coming from me! lol

Mom used to limit her time with them too, the thing is sometimes Mom might be like "oh well maybe I'll just talk" and I don't allow that. Well I don't allow it if she wants to continue to have my help. If she wants to start making all her own meals and driving herself to all her doctor appointments then yeah, she can do that and I'll just never talk to her again, no biggie.

Like she totally made my Christmas this year because she went to a store and I stayed in outside while she walked around, then I saw my aunt come out and I was afraid that my Mom was talking to her sister. Well she came out and I asked her and she said that even if she wanted to talk to her she was too weak from walking around by herself that she wasn't able to say anything. So then I cheered drove home all happy.

I mean the uncle that gave her the gift isn't that bad but he associates with the rest of the family and that's enough.

You either do it my way or you find a way to do it yourself, I'm comfortable with that

My patience for the UPS man is wearing thin. Every order I've made from Amazon has been here by the time I got home from school that day if it was delivered on a day when I had school. Its getting to be the time where I would get home from school. I will allow 30 more minutes, 2:30, before this delivery man becomes another candidate for worst delivery man of the year. His contender is the one who gave me God of War Collection: Broken Box edition. Not really anything I can do about it but whine but I wanna play Demon's Souls :(

Wow, you're spoiled! :P In canada, you have to wait 4 days to a week for anything to come. And if it's coming from the USA, it's a week to two weeks.

It comes in like 4-9 days if you don't pay. I paid extra money for one day shipping (and of course having legendary timing with Christmas and a sunday that means 3 days but whatever) and since I paid extra I would like it now.

Also why is the description of every anime ever exactly the same. (character name) is just an average (boy/girl) in their (#) year of highschool when one day they have a chance encounter with the strange (gender opposite main character) (name) who (saves them/has no memories). Then they use (gimmick, ex: magic, giant robots, swords) to go on an epic quest of world saving proportions and self discovery. Seriously. They are all the same.

Well, if you stick to the common, massively popular fare, ya. But not if you watch the really good ones that are not as massively popular.

It's hard for me to differentiate between quality when it gets to that level of goodness. Unless a game does something that sets itself significantly apart from the pack to the point that it's near perfection (9.5 in my book) then I can't really rank one better than the other.Batman was better in that it didn't have graphical flaws while AC2 had them throughout and continuous pop-in in the foreground and jittering shadows. Batman was also better in that it was a more refined experience all through the game whereas AC2 had some rough patches at some points. But the sheer scale of AC2 was really overwhelming and both did atmosphere incredibly well.

When I was playing AC2, I really felt I was there. It interwove history into the game so masterfully (well... except for the part where it says that the Doge liked the wife of his guard so he attempted to murder the guard leaving him with brain damage so that he had the mental capacity of a child and then got the him to sign a divorce in his reduced mental state so that the Doge could marry her and then later killed him. Yet you end up being the one to kill both the Doge and his guard. So you kinda changed history there...)

Well that's how I pick which one I watch next. Find the one that strays as far from that Generic Anime Madlib above. Now I'm wondering what's the most obscure anime I've watched and its really hard to gauge since I don't know how popular stuff is in Japan. I was only able to find one person who had heard of Higurashi no naku koro ni where I live (he was Japanese too) but It think that would hardly be the case in Japan.

I liked AC2 a lot, those things didn't really bother me. Everything played smoothly. As long as it was smooth the pop-in doesn't matter, they probably had to sacrifice somewhere.

I like everything about AC2. I don't really have any complaints, besides the DLC stuff.

You played the 360 version, which didn't have those issues. The PS3 version was significantly more problematic. I think GS, IGN, and 1UP or some combo of them said that the ps3 version is ok until you have a chance to compare it to the 360 version by playing that, and then you'll notice how it's inferior and it's a shame. It's just the pop-in really. It's rather distracting. Still very gorgeous though. I really don't mind the DLC thing they're doing. I think it was a clever marketing ploy to call them sequence 12 and 13 rather than 13 and 14 because it makes people feel like they're missing out an important part of the story if they don't buy the dlc, which is not actually the case. And it makes people feel they need to buy it for completion's sake, like they haven't got the whole story. I think I got my money's worth out of the game as it is so I don't resent that the dlc episodes aren't included as well.

I think I got my money's worth out of the game as it is so I don't resent that the dlc episodes aren't included as well.

Well that sucks about the PS3 version. I actually thought this time around the PS3 version had an edge (I was watching Reviews on The Run and they were talking about how PS3 games are starting to be better like Arkham, they also showed Assassin's Creed II).

I actually didn't read any reviews on Assassin's Creed II, because I was going to buy it anyway.

I'm not really upset upset about the DLC now that I beat it, its just slightly lame. But I will probably get it when it releases. :)

Ya lately, many multiplats have an edge on PS3, but Bayonetta and AC2 are two recent exceptions. I really don't think there are any excuses at this point. I mean, in the past two years, 4 different PS3 exclusives have dominated the GOTY awards (Uncharted 2, Demon's Souls, MGS4, LBP) and this year two exclusive ps3 games (Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2) are being hailed as the best graphics of the generation so far, so really, no excuses. Well, at least there are no serious bugs. What about the other dlc? The extra assassin tombs? I think they came for free in special editions of AC2, but from what i've seen those special editions were only available in europe. anyway, they're going to release those for sale on the store too, I think. Except you just get money at the end of the tomb, not a seal. I really really really loved the assassin tombs. I wish they would make a game that's JUST that kind of experience for the whole game. I dunno, sort of, what would you call it? Prince of Persia mebbe? :D Finding some of those secret areas in the assassin tombs was absolutely brilliant. Hearing the twinkling sound and trying to figure out how to get up to that ledge... wow, reminds me of the old Tomb Raider games.

Well Bayonetta was originally a Xbox 360 exclusive I believe. I think it was a port down to PS3 like last minute or half way through development, but I'm not sure.

I didnt hear about the other DLC. Assassin's Tombs were fun but I probably wont download those, we'll see though :P.

Well it finally got here. At least 3 hours later than usual but whatever. Now to make sure its in one piece.

EDIT: Confirmed to be in one piece. Now all that remains is to be a Wanderer or a Priest. Choices...

The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition is the best 400MS Points I've ever spent. Such a great game, and the humour still holds up today.

I love Tim Schafer.

Glad to hear you got it finally, snowman. So I'm converting all my music cds to digital in order to make space on my shelves for all my video games. Some very weird discoveries. I find myself asking questions like: "How the hell did I come into possession of a Billy Ray Cyrus album? :S

I did the same thing when i got my ipod... unfortunately there wasnt enough room on the hard drive to fit it all on, so i had to re-configure the Itunes library into the portable hard drive and re-rip all of my CD's onto it... it took all day, but it was more than worth it.

God I remember the day I put my music onto my computer. By the end of it, iTunes told me I had 38 days of music. I could play music for a month straight, 24 hours a day, and I still wouldn't be through it all.

I really want to play Grim Fandango. It would be perfect on WiiWare methinks. It's only 30mb so it would fit too.

That sounds like a lot of work. Now I need to take a nap just thinking of it.

The part that you're missing is that I actually enjoyed some songs off it. Some Gave All

Just try to imagine why Danica Patrick has a job racing cars or is a spokesperson for anything, that'll take your mind off of it
