This is reminding me a bit of that scene in Scott Pilgrim where he orders a package on Amazon and then immediately goes and sits by the door waiting for it to arrive.

 Ha! Yeah, I don't get many new games so I'm pretty excited. Plus, I'm off of work tomorrow through Monday so I was hoping to have it in my hands so I could enjoy it during my mini-vacation. Plus, if I can't get excited around you guys, then who can I??

Hey, I'm not judging - I've been super duper excited about a delivery before; I'm just being amused by that mental picture. :P I think it's great you're so excited and I hope it lives up to expectations.

I'm expecting TWO games next week! Unfortunately I'm at work when UPS/FedEx comes, so I rarely get to listen for that extra loud vehicle coming down the street. And when I am home, it sucks because I live away from any main roads but I'm on a bus route, so once every hour I get excited by something loud accelerating around the corner and then let down because it's just an empty bus. ALWAYS EMPTY. :evil:My first impression of Dragon Age is a very good one. I pretty much completed my origin story as a human warrior... I know, pretty lame but for some reason I always want to be a warrior. I thought about being a mage but decided not to.
I was so sucked in to the early story. BioWare really knows how to portray a good story.
[QUOTE="wiifan001"]My years resolution: In the past I've dreaded the whole year, now I'm just going to dread one day at a time.snowman6251That seems like a really miserable outlook on life. Live life to be happy, not to hate.
It was a joke and a reference :P
...I probably should have made that more clear
Who and where did I get that from?

This seems like an appropriate picture to use:
My god, the channel that shows the countdown for the fireworks that are for the new year where I live was painfully bad. It was the countdown for washington. The channel consisted of the fireworks, then some fireworks in other countries. That was things I were expecting. But then the two hosts had a special guest where that person was talking about how she does charity work and how that person were hleping people, and that dragged on nearly as long as the fire works lasted. Charity is nice and all but what does that have to do with new years? Oh, and then the weatherman came up and gave us the weather. Again, what does that have to do with anything? And then they showed us then traffic jam when everyone was leaving once they saw the fireworks... Oh, and then there was a lady who came to say that the one person who was doing the charitty deserved some kind of award, that lasted like 5 minutes. And then it ended where one of the hosts had to say good bye to his "friends", aka the people in the crowd who were watching the fireworks, and he gave high fives to the people in front of the crowd, and he didn't give one high five to any of the kids lol. My sister was there in person, I feel so bad for her lol.
I NEED! to see this movie I saw a trailer for this movie a while ago, forgot about it, was reminded about it, and MUST see it. Damn it looks so good.snowman6251I hadn't heard of that, but it looks pretty good. The first part, it looked like some overly dramatic horror movie or some s***, but it turned pretty epic looking. I also still want to watch Yogi Bear, as I was a fan of the series.

thats probably just the beer weight from last nightZack Snyder is one of the writers. No thx. Does this mean you didn't like 300? 300 was so freaking awesome. Like 300, I doubt the main draw of Suckerpunch is the writing. Its probably the hot girls fighting chain gun samurais, dragons, and more Helghast than Nazi Nazis.[QUOTE="snowman6251"] I NEED! to see this movie I saw a trailer for this movie a while ago, forgot about it, was reminded about it, and MUST see it. He's good at visually creative movies - but script wise, he should probably get someone else to write them. 300 looked nice and I liked it when I saw it but I haven't seen it again since I saw it in theaters.

I'll agree that the script was kind of cheesy but in the best way possible. "THIS IS SPARTA" will forever be a classic line up there with "Are you talking to me" and "What we've got here is failure to communicate". Also as far as directors are concerned I think he's a grand master of visuals. The dude limits his movies to like three colors but he uses them so damn well that everything turns into a visual spectacle the likes of which I've never seen before.Great showing in the bowl games today Big10... Way to go!!(Enter Sarcasm)
Gonna have me a BioWare RPG night tonight. I'm going to play KOTOR on my laptop while I watch the Fiesta bowl. And when it gets really out of hand I'll switch over and play Dragon Age on the PS3 until my eyes bleed. Not much going on tomorrow so I don't need to sleep!!

Sounds like a quality gaming night. I've been playing God of War all day so I'm putting the system away for now and probably just going to go to bed early

Yeah, he's good at visuals and cinematography. Though for his scripts he should probably get someone else to do them. James Cameron has this problem too, he has the plot made up which is fine but he can't write anything really good.
Case in point - Avatar.
After the hype died down, I realized the story was mediocre and I really only liked it for its visual presence. Which is fine, but I'm hoping for a better script for the next ones.
The ending of the Winter holidays means for me going back to school from January to April with only a few breaks in between (Reading Week, Easter, etc). Though, I'm hoping I'll find work during the summer to keep me busy and to get some cash to pay off tuition next year and to buy nice things for myself lol.HaziqonfireYou have a week off for Reading? Or is that something completely different than what I'm thinking.
