snake is gonna be awesome to play with...SSB is all about the humor and the fun...and Snake is soo out of place that he fits right into the context of the game...also remember back in the N64 era it was all about "video game heroes battling it out", and i beleive Snake is quite the hero when it comes to games...
on a side note...Hideo Kojima asked nintendo to put Snake way back in SSBM...and this time around he must've begged or somettin and the BigN finally gave him his wish...he must be a big fan of the game or somettin...
Does anyone else think that the graphics look a bit strange? The texture/bump mapping on Link doesn't look like your normal everday bump/texture mapping, it looks more realistic to me. My 4 year son is gonna flip when Wii and SSB and Zelda are released. He's a huge Zelda fan, even runs around with a link costume we bought for him with shield, sword, boots, hat etc... I really think Nintendo is doing it right this time. It'll be a whole new experience, much like when I got my NES as a kid. Go NÂ

[QUOTE="nbocc"][QUOTE="Toomai"]If they can afford to have characters with that kind of obscurity, just imagine what they can pull out of the hat...Boshi...Kamek...Banjo-Kazooie...The DK Krew...Waluigi...MAILER_DAEMON
OMG I NEED BANJO-KAZOOIE I would cry if he was in it. I am not even kidding. That would be the only way to express my joy.
Since Banjo and Kazooie are Rare characters, you won't see them in SSB. Sorry. You may be wrong since rare is working on a game for the DS right now. I guess they made a agreement to work on a game.....
And besides, they made a banjo Kazooie racing game for the GBA a while back......
could someone explain the whole box joke?Laserwolf65
in the metal gear solid games, snake is able to sneak around in a cardboard box
it isnt very realistic but it adds comic relief. thats y it funny to see in the box in the ssbb trailer
2 questions
will wavedashing still be in there?
what's with those huge attacks link and mario did and i think kirby did?

Handheld is a different market than console. As of right now Mircosoft isn't in that market. If they do get into it, there is a good chance that Rare will stop making games for Nintendos handhelds. Someone in another post brought up a good point. It's about the whole legality of Microsoft owning Rare's franchises before they were bought out by Microsoft. There is a small chance that Nintendo might be able to use the characters of Rare that were originally on their consoles but I doubt it.

No that's not true cause Nintendo owns the rights to Donkey Kong. The Donkey Kong game that came out on NES, the one where you had to climb and save the princess was developed by Nintendo: http://www.ebgames.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=914606  Donkey Kong Land III for Gameboy was also developed by Nintendo: http://www.ebgames.com/product.asp?product%5Fid=911084 Just check under the picture.

If they put Sonic characters in SSBB, I will die because I want to see Shadow in action against someone like Link.
Also, for the guy who hates SMB, why the hell do you even post here for if you don't like the game? -_-
So am I! I just can't wait to try out those new moves. Specialy the mega special attack each char has.
