[QUOTE="Keenzach"][QUOTE="Jaysonguy"] Enough with the violent.
I mean don't people play anything other then violent games? Plus isn't there like 5 other platforms right now to choose from if you're looking for it?
The idea that the Wii needs violence isn't right. The Wii is the best selling console ever to this point in it's life. The Wii doesn't need anything.
If it comes along in the future so be it.

lol i kinda agree with that but if i say violence isnt fun I would be lying because there are a good bit of games I like that are but adding alot of gore to an fps doesnt make it instantly awesome
No, I enjoy all kinds of games but I don't think the Wii NEEDS a violent game right now. Like I said up there, the Wii doesn't need anything except what's scheduled for release.
I don't think there's a violent section of gamers. People want good games, if the games happen to be violent so be it.
A game made just to be violent is usually awful.
I think its a mistake to say the Wii doesn't need anything except what's scheduled for release. Just because the Wii is selling well doesn't mean it can get away without having a well balanced library of games. The Wii needs more 3rd party support, and yes- more mature games. Not too mention there is a lack of good racing games, FPSs, and combat oriented games (tom clancy type stuff). The Wii is doing okay right now, but there is nothing wrong with pointing out what the Wii needs, because the Wii is not perfect.
Also, it's a generalization to think there is not agood numberof gamers who like violence in games. When people talk about RE4, you hear about the spectacular deaths. One of the most satisfying things you can do in gaming today is chainsaw your friend in Gears of War. Violence doesn't make the game, but it certainly adds to the fun of certain kinds of games- and the Wii is lacking in that department.
RE:UC will probably alleviate the shortage though. :-)
