What's so bad about this score? Granted, reviews are merely opinions, but when it comes to Warioware, the game is simple, addictive fun. Warioware Twisted is a great game that I still play regularly, and the simple pick-up-and-play formula makes it fun for the whole family. I'm sure WarioWare Wii will be even more fun.BobbyBobby85
I thought it was gonna be 8.9.
But this adds sprinkles to the cupcake...

anyways.... keep in mind that not all reviews are correct.

any game that lasts a little more than an hour doesnt deserve a 9 imo yea, thanks for that comment that had nothing to do with wariowareim not buying it still. I know for a fact i'll get bored of it. I played warioware games before and i ALWAYS get bored of them, they are a good rent, however i dont think they are a good investment unless you ALWAYS have company over to play multiplayer. but anyway, great news for wii AAA's.Haziqonfire
Agreed... Warioware games are kinda cool the first play through, but after that they're no good. I liked some of what was going on in the DS Warioware game (particularly their retro microgame section), but after you finish it there's no real reason to go back.
This game getting a 9.1 is absolutely ludicrous. Maybe they felt that they've been hard on the Wii games or something and that they ought to give some back by giving the Wii a AAA game, but this is just foolish. Without even playing it, I can tell you that this game isn't a 9.1, or at least not on the second play through it isn't.
EDIT: And by the way, does this topic REALLY need to be stickied? Let's get real here.
What's up with the Oot Link Picture in one of the screen shots? I am a newb to warioware and just collecting information starting from yesterday.Link_188What you saw was a screenshot of one of the microgames where you make the motion of pulling the Master Sword from the shrine.
to the people whining about the score, have you even played the game yet? It's not out in the US until the 15th, it was released in the UK on the 12th and it's the best purchase I've made for the Wii so far, yes that includes titles such as Zelda. The game last longer than an hour btw, and those saying it lasts an hour are talking rubbish since they haven't even played the game yet.
The story mode IS short, however, but the game is about partying and as a party game and as a single player it's infinitely more enjoyable than anything that has been released on the Wii so far. Remember it's a party game with a short single player mode - but this game is the best example of how to utilise the Wiimote, something Zelda failed to do with it's tacked on controls and often dull gameplay.
The game is a helluva lot of fun, is cheaper than the current Wii titles by 5 quid, and is easily the most fun game out there at the moment. At the end of the day, you can whine all you want about the score, but as with Zelda get over the score and actually play the game, then make a fair judgement based on that.
For the people who can't believe the score, I can't believe GS was generous enough to give Zelda such a good score, I thought it was the worst 3D Zelda so far, but hey opinions are like aholes and everyone has one.
GS is not the be all and end all of reviews, and if you don't like the 9.1 stick with IGN who gave it an 8.1 - that is STILL a good score, hell any game that scores above 7 is a good game, so what's the complaint? GS gives it's first 9.1 and people complain without having even played the game. Logic obviously not a strong point.sekhu
The entire gamespot staff was saying the same thing when they reviewed Zelda: you guys haven't played the game yet, you'll see what we are talking about when you play the game.... Then, after about a week, people played the game and still went nuts on this site about the review.
My point is: With the amount of reviews/previews there are on the internet with any given game, you can tell whether or not a game deserves a score even if you have not played it (as long as you read other reviews/previews). Believe it or not I HAVE played this game also. I personally think it deserves an 8. I think it's absolutely crazy that it got editors choice and I really think Jeff was just trying to get people to stop saying he's anti Wii. I also find it VERY VERY hard to believe you prefer this title over Zelda. Unless you just Love party games and really dislike Fantasy Adventures then I cannot for the life of my see why you would prefer WarioWare over Zelda TP.
On a side note, if gamespot keeps this kind of rating system going I REALLY believe the Wii could get a very high 9 (like a 9.8 or 9.9) game with Mario Party. When my GF and I played WW for the 1st time, we both kinda looked at each other and said "MARIO PARTY IS GONNA BE AMAZING"..... For those of you familiar with the franchise, you'll see where I'm comming from once you play WW.
GS 9.1, IGN 7.8
....Still looks crazy fun, and good use of the remote (even though not every single game needs to have crazy functions)

Actaully IGN (USA) gave it 8.2, it was (IGN) GB or (IGN) Austrailia, that gave it 7.8. Wow a 9.1, from Jeff? That means this game must have chainsaws! [QUOTE="sumarr"]GS 9.1, IGN 7.8

Well that's the difference between IGN and GS. Gamespot's reviews are all over the place and rarely make sense. IGN's make much more sense. There's no way Wario Ware should be getting a higher score then Zelda. Just shows that the guys here don't know what they're doing.MKN-3

The fact the some of you are still whinning over the Zelda score just show you how immature and how much of a fanboy some of you guys are, Let it be it scored a 8.8 its not the end of the dam world, if the game scored a 9.5 you guys would be a Jeff's jock and claim he is the greatest reviewer ever, It amazes me how two faced gamers are.

Wario Ware is stupid, humor fun! I don't disagree with the score of 9.1. I think they're giving it a 9.1 due to the game using the Wii remote and the remote using all the power it has to do things that the Wii is yet to perfrom on it's full potential. I'm getting this game for sure. I loved the Wario Ware DS version so this Wario Ware for the Wii should be entertaining.email2003
I disagree with you sir, if Gamespot gave Warioware games that used their innovative control schemes really high scores, then why did Warioware Touched only get a 7.2, so this obviously isn't the only reason it got a 9.1. The DS Warioware was good, but it got boring. Twisted on the GBA is way better.[QUOTE="email2003"]Wario Ware is stupid, humor fun! I don't disagree with the score of 9.1. Because it had too many repetitive modes where all you did was touch things with the stylus. Obviously this one must be better.

I completely agree with the gamespot rating. Smooth moves is super fun, especially with a bunch of people.
The microgames are cleverly designed and highly addicting. The gameplay is highpaced and always leaves you wondering whats coming next.
I see some people complaining about the replay value of this game, but I can easily see myself playing it over and over again.
The graphics and the vibrant colors in this game look awesome on my 50inch plasma tv.
