why did u buy a wii?

The Games. I can't Miss out on my Metroid Prime 3, Smash, Mario, Mario Karts, etc.

oh yeah, plus the controller/design of the console made me want it.

because it really appealed to me, i had kinda gotten tired of the old dual stick dpad buttons stuffXerlaoth

Almost the same reasons. Also, like the DS, I knew nintendo would pull out something amazing. And like the ds, having a good 3rd party support.

Well is simple,we all want the best, and the answer is Nintendo!!!

I bought it because of the control innovations and first party games. IT also helped that it was $250.00, considerably less than both other home consoles.

Well, I've bought aNintendo consolevery generation (except for the N64 generation, because I skipped that generation), so I was planning on getting it unless if they reallymessed up. But after finding out more about it, I got really excited. Besides the fact that I always get Nintendo consoles, I got it because it had a lot of games that I wanted, it had the Virtual Consol, had the remote for a new way to play games, and had free online gameplay (once it has good games for online gameplay).

My #1 reason was the first-party titles. I HAVE to play Mario and Smash Bros.

Plus, I have always supported Nintendo.

Because it's Nintendo (the games)and motion-sensing.

I got the Wii because Nintendo games are always the most fun!

I also wanted it because of the new innovative control scheme...

But now I'm having second thoughts....

Just to expand further.

1. It came out in europe when it was announced to. Not Six months later.

2. Fully backwards compatible with the cube (99%) didn't take out the Backwards compatible chip for Europe.

3.Has a Zelda game at launch (Zelda pwns)

4. The VC is incredible:Mario64,kart,gunstar,f-zero etc

5. The PRICE (Get over it, it's a factor)

6. It looks cool and isn't the the size of a small fridge

7. The wiimote makes for unique 'fun' games and new genres of gameplay!

8. Battalion wars 2 Pwns

9. The first party games just ooze quality and polish

10. Nintendo doesn't let you down (i have the 360 for frag-fests!)

11. Manhunt 2 with wiimote controls (Damn BBFC)
