I enlisted the help of another user several months ago but he hasn't gotten around to taking over yet. I guess I'm keeping the October thing in the title as sort of a reminder....also this thread needs to be updated....I mean...October?

And the reason I'm not updating it myself is because of characters-per-post restrictions. Adding one game to pretty much any section requires a lot of moving around and overall hassle that I'm just not up to dealing with at this point.
I'll open the offer up again, though.... If anyone wants to take over this thread, either by copying its current format or starting from scratch or anything in between, send me a PM.

Its an average survival horror game with great atmosphere and unique theme. Its short, immensely slow, and has awful overused combat. Also the whole experience takes a huge dive in quality about 2/3 through the story. So no I don't really recommend it.would anyone recommend Cursed Mountain?

I'm looking for a more "mature" title on the wii considering all of the games I own on my wii are rated E and T and only one M game I'm looking for more of a violent, and fun game this time around. I'm thinking either House of the Dead Overkill, looks fun, but a little shallow or the first No More Heroes game, which looks great and if I like it I will probably get the second one. Which one would you rath spend 15 bucks over House of the Dead Overkill or the first No More Heroes game?
No More Heroes, hands down. I found Overkill to be really underwhelming, even for a cheap rail shooter, while No More Heroes grew on me after awhile. It has some major faults and missed potential, but it's still a pretty fun game at its core. I would also go with no more heroes, great little game, or dead space extraction
Any JRPGs I should pick up?
loveless9
Personally I would recommend Monster Hunter Tri, its an action jrpg though, great game, really fun combat and character building
900 wii points left over.
What to use them on?
Godofnerdyness
I highly recommend Bit.Trip Beat, I own it and absolutely love it
This is not a knock against motion controls, but I'm looking for a list of good games that use the classic controller setup. Any help would be great... Thanks.

Alot of VC titles have Classic Controller set up. Also, Tatsunoko vs. Capcom supports it. Haven't played it extensivley, but, from what I've seen, it's pretty fun.
I was waiting for someone else to take over, but honestly, at this point, I think I only have a handful of released games to add and then Zelda, whenever that comes out. I might get around to it soon. This thread needs to be updated.

The more important thing is what's going on with the guy above you.

It was easier when I was a mod and could just co-opt the first few replies to expand the work area or create a new thread and deal with all the stickying and unstickying myself. Oh well, I'll figure something out. This thread needs to be updated.

There is LITERALLY an explanation as to why it hasn't been updated on this page :P
What are your thoughts on MadWorld? Or can you give me a better gory wii game for £2.99?
DumbPanda
Repetitive, hurts your eyes after a while, not a lot of replayability. Worth a shot given how cheap it is, some people love it. Personally I would recommend No More Heroes over it, much better game overall.

No More Heroes is fun, gory, and INSANE. The combat is fun and the boss fights are excellent. The game is pretty much over the top in just about every way you can imagine :P
Haha no problem, I try to pop in here often as I can since questions can get neglected at times :P

What?! I don't know. I thought you did! Oh Snap.
It's probably better that you've never finished a Metroid game. Other M is an AWESOME action game but a below average Metroid game. It's very straight forward (as opposed to maze-like in all the other games) and action-focused. It's a ton of fun if you know what to expect.Okay guys. Other M. Is it worth getting? I've never finsihed a Metroid game before BTW. I don't know if that matters or not. >.>

I can't really speak for him, but personally I wouldn't pay more either. It's a really good little game, but it's something you're not going to want to pay full price for... know what I mean? It's like Bioshock is a really good game, but years later I'm not about to pay 50 bucks for it.
