My girlfriend owns a Wii but I do not want to buy a fightstick, and I currently have a 360 that I use my TE Stick to play fighters.
However, I would run to the store and buy TVC right now, if I did not have to use the Wii mote to play it.
I have a question? For somebody who owns the game is it still alot of of fun playing with the wii mote or would you pass up TVC and save for a different game because the Wii mote takes the fun out of the fighter.
I use the c1assic controller. You can however use a GameCube controller and the Wiimote and Wiimote+Nunchuck. I haven't tried those two (Wiimote alone/Wii remote a nunchuck) but those are suppose to be more accessible to players who don't typically play fighters. I have only tried the c1assic controller option.
Great game for the Wii but I think I am going to pass on it. I do not see myself playing without a stick :(

I'm fine with the c1assic controller -- but for people who are used to using an arcade stick it's probably not worth buying a stick for the Wii, there aren't enough fighters that use it.

I'd highly recommend that you get it. TVC is the first fighter game that I've ever owned and I think that it's awesome. It's really fun and there's a lot of stuff to unlock too.

Great game, especially if you have someone to play with.
2010 is going to compensate 2009 for me. Will buy Red Steel 2, Epic Mickey, Mario Galaxy 2, De Blob 2, Fragile, Tales of Graces, Arc Rise Fantasia, Sky Crawlers, Trace Memory R, Xenoblade, Last Story, Metroid Other M and Zelda.
This plus tons of PS3, PSP and DS games. I'll be broke :(
I've added Zelda Wii, since we've been hearing it's planned to be shown at E3 2010, it's more relevant to have it up now - and since it is also planned for release by earliest, 2010.
All those games look awesome!!! I'm especially looking forward to Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid. Tatsunoko vs. Capcom is definately the Wii Game of the Month. I've been playing it nonstop since I got it.
Tatsunoko vs Capcom was quite an amazing experience and deserving of the Game of the Month title for sure. For me, it's gonna be a great pick-up-and-play game for quite a while. It's certainly a nice change from just having Brawl as a fighting game.
What's the big deal with T vs. C? Isn't the game just like Super Smash Bros. Brawl only with japanesse characters. From the trailers it looks just like it so what?

Its a traditional fighting game where as brawl isn't, its more of a 'party' fighter I guess. TvC can be more comparable to a game like Marvel vs Capcom.

Red Steel 2, Mega Man 10 and Fragile Dreams: Farewell Ruins Of The Moon will make things interesting for the Wii's current line up - Also Sin and Punishment is still set for Q1 2010 so I'm guessing we'll see that sometime soon (perhaps some mention of a release date at the February Media Summit).

TvC is a traditional fighter because it has more complex movesets then brawl does. It plays just like Street Fighter games (in terms of purely how you control the game). Where as brawl has moves that are simple enough to pull off for anyone, in TvC its often harder to pull off some moves. AND the goal of Brawl is to knock your opponent off the stage, while the goal of TvC (and traditional fighters) is to deplete their health bar.
AND Brawl has goofy weapons and items and stages, while TvC is more basic.
Sonic and sega allstar racers (or whatever) got an 8.0 on IGN.
Is the reason why it isn't up there because it is not exclusive?

No, two reasons. 1) I forgot about it and 2) I initially thought it wasn't going to be anything special when it was first announced. I plan on putting it up, just waiting for a GameSpot review probably.
actually the Sonic game looks pretty solid and i think its gonna be moderately popular .I dont like the vibe and the tracks seem too easy for anyone so far but the game is good . Looks better than Mario Kart but isnt as good in gameplay terms.
Maybe you can add Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands? It looks pretty good, and it's coming out May 18.

Why is everyone comparing TVC to Smash Brother Brawl? They are way different from each other and yes TVC is a great addition to the wii library I can't seem to put the game down I play it more then Marvel vs Capcom and Street Fighter 4 on my 360 and PS3.
