The IGN review mentioned that they fixed the camera angles. They didn't say anything about Nintendo themed planets though.

It is quite surprising as unlike most review sites, including GameSpot, it is very rare to garner a 10 score from IGN. The first Mario Galaxy did not get this score, so for IGN the sequel is considered an improvement as it would have scored the game if it was not.

I updated the thread with Trauma Center, Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands and SMG2 reviews -- also, I moved some things and made the layout a bit different and I added COD: Black Ops to the line up.
I was very suprised when I saw Super Mario Galaxy 2 get a 10/10 from IGN, especially since the first game didn't. I'm very happy to see the Wii get its first AAAA game!
Updated. SMG2 is the game of the month for May and I updated the upcoming games of June, looks like the only one's to look forward to are Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11, Arc Rise Fantasia and S&P2.
Definitely one of the best games of the year. It's amazing how they managed to make it even better than the first Mario Galaxy. It makes me feel like a kid on Chirstmas again.

was very surprised to see a new Donkey Kong country. im glad video game companies are remaking classic games. I wish they made a sequel to the snes super mario rpg. i can't stand the paper Mario games. they are not half as good as the 1st mario rpg.
