dsiscool I wasn't talking to you I was talking to the ones who have said they gave up on the Wii or Nintendo in general just by this one conference. Also Flclempire I know what you mean but see I took the title different and so on and you took it different so thats why some people are disappointed I can see now so I apologize sorry everyone just was tired and grumpy, anyway yes its good news but not alot but like that link I provided says they will announce the release information IN September so just wait its only about 2 weeks.

I'm really sry for the way I acted please forgive me. I BEG OF YOU ALL PLEASE. :cry:

One quick note before I go REMEMBER Nintendo is co-hosting a speech type thingy with EA so their could be some titles unvealed there too. Also to dsiscool how did they let you down by announcing new games or by you just overhyping everything.shark1014

Yeah ppl don't seem to get that this is one of the last BIG...MAJOR...HUGE...press events before launch. Like, where there are international press and 10,000's of gamers looking for news. If they have been keeping a bunch of stuff under wraps, now is time to let it out, at least Some of it. Hell, even some minor announcement about the big ??? that is Nintendo's online service would have been AWESOME. Instead we get 2 games. It is just such a letdown after they showed off what? 20-something games at E3? Now, 3 monthes later and hype is gone from E3 and we get dissapointing bite-sized chunks of info. Please, Nintendo, reward us with _something_ to brag to our friends who believe that nintendo is already dead....

I've been waiting to see what Nintendo was going to announce at the LGC and I thought it would be big???? so I'm guessing it was really dissapointing *sighs* I just hope Nintendo bust alot of stuff the following day! Its such a sad thing to see all the hype from E3 lost just by one lame press conference !:(

Nintendo said that they would release the release and price info sometime in september

They will prove the promise that they will release the info in september

I can't belive I stayed up only for some wiii news, not some games I'll never plan on buying ever.
The only thing now that's bothering me is where is Ninty suppost to give us price and date because there never going to join the TGS, I even checked the website, no ninty anywhere,And there's no space world, so what know ninty.I just fell sad for nintendo, The GC was sop  hyped about launch and date, so where on earth are they suppost to find out.

they will just announce it on their website like when they changed the name to wii. There wasn't a huge conference for that, just a webpage

Good news, I've heard that IGN and nintendo are having some kind of event on Thursday September 14 they might release news there. It also an invitation on matt's blog so check it out.

Thank goodness, I would have quit on Ninty, just joking.

I said the same thing somewhere within my post history here but I was hoping for something in the virtual console area which hasn't been touched on alot but like some posters said if you go to Matt's blog over at ign.com there is a invitation only thing NIntendo is having and he has blurred out alot of sentences also its in September on the 14th at 10AM-4PM so that is the day wii will all know so sit back and grab your ds and play the waiting game or star fox when it comes out next week.

Ok this thread has 1300 post since I was on it last night. How many pages back is the info regarding the Conference? I heard the conference sucked so I know that means no price or date was announced :(

I don't know why  I got hyped for this German event...I have a friend who is a manager at Gamespot and I always ask him about "inside" Wii info and he never really knows anything. All he could tell me is that all Gamespot managers have to go to a conference in mid September and after the conference Gamespots will have Wii release dates, prices and preorders...I don't know why I didn't think about that when I was reading all of these hype posts. Maybe its cuz the hype consumed me :|   ?  Anyway I'm not BSing this. I just thought the guy didn't know what he was talking about but apparently he does. Because the date he told me is also around the time of the Nintendo thing in Mid-September...

Idk, all this waiting is really starting to make me think Nintendo really don't have crap up their sleeve. They called the Keynote speech "Wii Prove Our Promise," then spend the overwhelming majority talking about the DS? That was almost as sad as Sony E3 2006. It's Mario Strikers! The LGC was a complete letdown.  They could have told launch date, system specs, some VC games, interesting Wii games (the new ones they showed suck), clarification on the online, on and on and on.  But...nothing.  Some crappy trailers of games I don't like (except Red Steel).  I didn't have high hopes for the LGC, but they showed nothing.  "Wii prove our promise." ....what a load of crap.  :(

Indeed.  I'm supporting the Wii, but just barely.  I havn't owned a Nintendo system is 10 years.  So, I'm very cautious about going back to them.  Crap like false "Wii prove our promise" doesn't help their credibility with me.  Now, everything hinges on how the TGS goes.
