@GameboyTroy: Wii U can run MGS5
You really have no clue what you're talking about do you... MGS V minimum cpu requirements needs to clock in at about 3.4 GHz, Wii u's cpu clocks in at about 1.23 GHz... Wii u has 2 GB of RAM (1 GB of which is for System function so really 1 GB free) and MGS V need at least 4 GB... It just cant run on wii u... It would have to be downgraded really hard and no company is going to do that...
I wonder how PS3 and Xbox 360 can run it then?

I don't think the Wii-U being under-powered is the main issue. The Wii-U having gimmicks which weren't really utilized all that much anyway, and having limited developer support are much larger issues.
The sad thing here is that, had Nintendo released the Wii-U as a traditional console - with a normal controller, no tablet, no gimmicks... And with only as much power as it has now... I think it would have actually sold better and had a better library by now. Nintendo would have spent a little more time focusing on the games they released so far for the system, and its better performance would have attracted more third-party devs.
I kinda agree, i also think it would have sold a little better, but i do think it would have still suffered compared to the competition. The games would be a problem though i think, people would have complained about them being rehashed a lot, but fans wouldnt have cared much. It would have been a low risk low reward in my eyes.
Dont get me wrong, i love the ideal of Nintendo going mobile, i like how they handle things. But i would like Sony and Microsoft to do more mobile to make their fans upset, would be some funny stuff. Im greedy, i want people to see what game oversaturation does, i want people to go into Walmart or Bestbuy and see 20% Remasters, 10% Ports, 10% F2P, 40% Indies, and 20% AA-AAA.
Im just kidding though, i dont actually care what they do, i just like joking about it. Im a fan of all systems, but i side with Nintendo, im a regulator by trait.
