Okay I don't know why I can't vote, in fact I haven't been able to vote for any poll in the last month or so, but I say Twilight Princess. You can't deny the technology, story and breadth of the game that puts the others to shame. Even though they ALL ROCK!
1. Twilight Princess
2. Ocarina of Time
3. Wind Waker
4. Legend of Zelda
5. Majora' Mask
6. A Link to the Past
7. Adventures of Link
8. Phantom Hourglass.
It should be noted that I hate having to put any of those titles "last". Where I would give numbers 1 through5 a 10, I'd give Majora's Mask a 9.8, and the last three a 9.5. ALL GREAT!
You forgot the Puzzles that involve the touch screen... there are REALLY good, you even have to draw the map of an island with the stylus to solve one, i haven't beat the game yet ... but they can easily be the best and they are the best of PH, they are new stuff to solve, not the same pressing some switchs with an order, moving or using some Items. btw, for me is OoTThe Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
Great game, the return of the top-view Zelda. Well, a 3D top-screen Zelda. But it still borrows a lot of gameplay elements from one of the best Zeldas Link's Awakening. The controls work almost perfectly, but rolling just sucks. The characters are interesting and the duration is perfect for a handheld game. Sailing is an improvement over Wind Waker. But in retrospect the story is not really Wind Waker worthy, but then again even the story feels a lot like Link's Awakening, making it more a game about the events after WW than the true sequel to WW. Sidequests are not brilliant, but some of the minigames are pretty cool. The game is still very, very good though, especially with the multiplayer additions.
After beating TP, I'm playing OoT, and I'm discovering that it isn't the be all and end all. I'd say they're equal.dmil1991
Just the fact that you're playing it 10 years late and still think it's equal to TP shows exactly how amazing OoT was.
phantom hourglass is the least chosen????
i picked oot. but ph would probably be my second choice. that game was amazing!
[QUOTE="Moon_of_Majora"]Its all opinions, because I DISAGREE with ALL, 100% EVERYTHING that you just stated about Majora's Mask. and yet i completely agree with everything he said, how can people not like MM??? it was soo much better than Oot, i only play Oot now for the last boss battle, everything else is kind of boring, now grant you ten years ago i would have thought myself crazy for saying something like this but i believe its true.Majora's Mask.
-original story
-best character development
-amazing dungeons
-best sidequests
-best/unique gameplay (mask/time system)
-great music
-great replay
-colorful and detailed world
-hardest 3D Zelda
-fixed problems that OoT had (like camera, and already mentioned sidequests/replay)

Wind Waker gets my vote. In my opinion, its the best the series has to offer. It really gave the series a breath of fresh air right when it needed it. The visual style, the vast open ocean world, and the fact that it tied in with OoT made it great.
Majora's Mask would be my second choice.

Heresy! I can still play through Ocarina and enjoy every second of it.
But I'm glad to see Majora's Mask is getting some love. Definitely the most underrated Zelda game, and one of the more underrated games of the past ten-fifteen (however long it's been) years.
kind of yeah...we should be comparing it to it's fellow handheld zelda brethren. Iknow it's my favorite hand held zelda. For me in order
OOT WW MM TP PH Phantom Hourglass was great and had hard original puzzles but it is a handheld game so it really cant compete.
wooooode
basically a wind waker in your pocket.
Why does everyone hate Twilight Princess? I was glued to my Wiimote for days playing it. The ending wasn't that bad, 'cause it left alot of questions unanswered. The wolf was boring at some parts, but very useful. I really loved jumping up and stabbing your enemies to death.
Final Score:
1.Twilight Princess
2.Ocarina of Time
3.Wind Waker
4.Majora's Mask
5.Phantom Hourglass
Don't get me wrong, I loved MM and PH. I hate having to put them last, though.
Twilight Princess
Ocarina of Time
Majora's Mask
Phantom Hourglass
WindWaker
imo, of course. WW and PH, although awesome games, are so low on the list because i'm not a terribly big fan of their setting. I don't like the oceanic setting and the tons of sailing. I'd rather be riding through fields and forests.
Majora's Mask was a really great game, and an awesome offbeat zelda game for which it deserves much respect.. but when it comes down to it, i like my traditional zelda ****they are my favourite games period)Â And that's why TP takes top. It may not be the most innovative, but it's the perfect(to date) traditional zelda.
Majora's Mask.

yeah! MM is my favorite zelda hands down. The only one I didnt care much for was phantom hourglass.
i loved majora, but i know i`m one of the few  I want it on the VC
Ocarina is winning this poll :P
chang_1910
it will probably be released on the vc close to the new zelda
oot will win
Yeah, I completley agree with you. Still you should have just made a new topic instead of bumping one from February. Oh well, and CONGRATS ON YOUR FIRST POST!!!
Majora's Mask was an unbelievable experience.
But, at the end of the day.. it has to go to Twilight Princess. It really is the perfect tribute to the games before it.
1.) TP
2.) MM
3.) WW
4.) OoT
5.) PH
WW, Oot are tied but I loved them all. If Link to The Past was here I would choose it. Reminded me I still haven't beaten it.
I chose WW though. :P
Edit: Wow a lot of people do put Oot on a pedestal.
