Looks bad.
But we haven't seen any gameplay videos yet so I'll just wait until then. Maybe it looks much better in motion.
why does the game looks...uhm...pale? i mean, like, there's not much contrast of colors? nomadph
it's a horror game, about all of them are like that.
what idiot designed that website. I open a picture and the window is made too small for the next picture button to be shown so I resize the window to include the next button and every time I load a new picture it resizes the stupid thing to exclude the next button so I have to keep resizing the window every pic.
worst site ever

Yeah those screens look pretty cool
I'm just happy that there are more screens to confirm it hasn't been cancelled
I feel the same way. This was one of the biggest reasons I got a Wii in the first place.
Anyway, people have been complaining about the screenshots looking badly, but I really don't understand why. (Not to bring up the Conduit argument again but,) I feel like I have to draw a diagram to illustrate that a low quality thumbnail of a (still in development) game in motion is not the ideal thing to judge the game's visuals on.
But then again, that's how things work these days.
It looks like Time Crisis (that arcade rail shooter), meets Splinter Cell, meets the Day After Tomorrow, meets Trauma Center, meets Prince of Persia.
It could either end up awesome or incredibly convoluted. The user friendliness of the interface looks like a PC game
I have found a better place to look at the screen shots.

Awesome! Thanks.
man...this game def has potential...but alot of those screens look TERRIBLE!!!!
(to all the people who thought there was some on rails sections)- I can def say that there is...way too many pics to prove it now.
There looks to be alot of gameplay changes through out the game from what I can tell which could be kinda cool.
3rd person
saving people
FPS/on rails (view that however you want)
action parts (disaster areas such as the flood run/bear attack)
I dunno though...this game looks (graphically, gameplay wise) alot different then I expected it would to begin with. Here's hoping to the game being worth it.......:?

I understand your arguement...but the Conduit has been in developement for half of the time Disaster has had (I'm being generous here...this game has had at least yr and half on the Conduit) and the Conudit blows this game out of the water visually.
There are some screens that I can accept....but there are also tons and tons that I can't. Especially ones like the civilian girl on the ground. Look at her hands (poly count), and her arm.
The ones that seem decent to me are the Black & White (look like cut scenes).
I agree with Wintry though...this game will not get better visually imo. Unless these are very old photos that just some how emerged now....this is what we have to work with.
I heard it was released somewhere, or maybe thought wrong. But if so what did it rate?:?
Silentcoffin6
nope, not yet. I think it was dated for AU or EU though. I wanna say Octoberish?
I was wondering........ how many disaters are there?Silentcoffin6
Who knows? All we know is that there are 23 stages.
EDIT: "while your environment by volcanoes, earthquakes, floods, cyclones and tsunamis in rubble and ashes"
some of those screens look great! some others look...
but thank the heavens this game is alive!!!! :D
is that a chainsaw i spy in one screen!?
alos bears!!!

What's your sig, a live action SSJ3?
I like the screenshots, I like the premise of the game and I bet it will be good.
The protagonist looks like a douchebag, though.
Usually Ex-Marines and such tend to look like that. xP
Strangely, I wish to dub Japanese Jack Bauer now. That shall be his name!
still havent seen the screens but the one featured on the article, been reading through the typical remarks of people who ONLY comment about visuals, anywho this games definitely going to include wiimotionplus for the most immersive real action we can experience, not surprised its been " delayed" for this very reason, that and cant wait for future games with wiimotion plus implementation, the megaton in videogaming, nibris get too it...giz83
It's set for a 2008 release in Europe, before M+ release.

I can agree with that.
But at the same time, the pictures that look particularly bad (little girl, bear, etc.) are also the same pics we had from a scanned magazine from back in like '06. While the better looking black and white ones (I also think these will be cinematics) are the newer photos we've received.
Anyway, It won't be visually spectacular, but I have hope.
[QUOTE="Silentcoffin6"]Holy crap is that.......Bear?!?!
Wintry_Flutist
A terrorist bear maybe.
The bear is probably because you have to eat to regain health so maybe you also have to hunt your food and you have to attack the bear.[QUOTE="Wintry_Flutist"][QUOTE="Silentcoffin6"]Holy crap is that.......Bear?!?!

The bear is probably because you have to eat to regain health so maybe you also have to hunt your food and you have to attack the bear.First of all, the bear is there as a threat! It's a godamn bear, just when you saved your ass from a tsunami or something!
Hm, it's a nice idea to hunt for food. I've seen pics with snacks among Ray's items, but it'd be nice if there were some more hardcore food.
I'm not sure why this game is getting hyped. It looks rather mehish to me.Super-Mario-Fan
The latest info on gameplay is quite amazing, actually.
