[QUOTE="mems_1224"][QUOTE="TheBigTicket21"][QUOTE="mems_1224"][QUOTE="TheBigTicket21"][QUOTE="mems_1224"]yup, garnett suspended for one game. serves him right too. he's a dirty player and he's stupid to do that that late in the game. heat could win this if they win the next game and get the momentum on their side going homeTheBigTicket21
shut your mouth upgarnett is just a bitter old man past his prime that has to rely on dirty play because his skills have deteriorated. he's useless now a days face it the NBA is just a soft league. I mean holy ****, he gets suspended for shoving a guy off of his injured teammate. Richardson is an average player jawing about Pierce being actor, and Garnett gets him off and he gets suspended. Joakim Noah comes out and whines about KG being dirty, he needs to actually be decent before his little ***** ass runs his mouth, I mean after that he starts smacking Cleveland, the guy is a pos. You're telling me KG is useless, why don't you hit up one of those Rockets playoff games, oh that's right that worthless team didn't even make the playoffs, what a joke you're opinion of basketball is, everyone is too sensitive when it comes to sports. I don't ever see Garnett elbowing people who have earned some respect and don't just run their mouth all day.no he got suspended for throwing and elbow at someone's face and he was stupid enough to let a nobody talk him into a fight and getting suspended for a game with 40 seconds on the clock. anyway you look at it, it was a stupid move by a stupid player. and id take noah on my team right now than an old decrepit kg.and like apoc said, kg has been dirty his whole career, its just more evident now because he has no more basketball skills. you can talk about the rockets and use that as an excuse all you want, so what?am i supposed to be hurt by that? the celtics are not winning another title with that team anyways and this time next year will be broken up. Was it the right move no, but if you're seriously going to take Noah over Garnett you're a joke. I guess it takes no skill to average 14 points per game in the NBA, so if that's your stance I guess we can say every player who doesn't average as much has no skills? Yeah he doesn't have to score 25 points a game, because they have 6 former or current all-stars on their team. How are you gonna sit their and tell me they can't win the playoffs, when your team doesn't even have a shot, you seem to be jealous of a 'dirty' player's success. Now I know you're going to say you're not jealous, then why are you harboring feelings over an incident that has nothing to do with your team. So it's going to end next season? what does that have to do with now, you're telling me now team has ever rebuilt before. I just love how everyone goes out and hates on players when they are no longer in their prime.PS. Apoc makes a good point, I have read numerous threads in The Lounge titled concerning his manlove affairs, but does that make it particularly so?
I guess I can throw out this post Top 10 players of the 2000's
again, what does this have to do with the rockets? why do you keep bringing them up? they have nothing to do with this discussion so stop grasping for straws. and i've never liked kevin garnett, he talks so much ish and takes cheap shots and is no longer in his prime. he's done for his career. noah on the other hand has just begun his. ok, KG averaged 14 ppg in the regular season great. yet in the playffs, on a team much worse than the celtics are noah is play waaay better.fact is KG was never good enough to win a championship, he needed pierce and allen to carry him to one because he crumbles in big games, always has always will. and the celtics made it to the playoffs, awesome, they aren't getting past the 2nd round even if they manage to beat the heat which might not even happen. their window is shut after this year and kg's career will soon be over. who will you **** ride then?Â
and of course everyone is going to say he's one of the best players ever, for the first 10 years of his career all he did was lose and put up big numbers. he's like kobe except he is a loser and disappears when his team needs him the most. he never would have won anything if allen and pierce carried him to a title and would have ended up in the same category as barkley, ewing and all those other players who put up nice stats but couldn't come through when their team needed them. noah knows his role and does what his team needs, scoring when he has to but mainly rebounding and defense. KG still thinks he can score and rebound but he cant, he and rasheed wallace are what made the celtics so terrible this year. that team is too old.
