helped eliminate* griefDavis and Daniels wouldn't have concussions I can bet if Perkins had stayed on. None of those situations would have happened.Â
Even the commentators and half time folks, Magic Johnson etc, said it was BS and should be reversed...Most likely one perhaps even both
Perkins did nothing wrong unless walking away before you do anything stupid qualifies as a technical
Crawford, technical if you argue, technical if you don't as Rondo and Perkins found out
Colt did you watch the UConn vs Kentucky game this year? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01yFhaQd7Xs I know you don't watch college bball but I didn't know if you actually followed UConn basketball or not.
I only went to two UF basketball games this year (even though they are free lol). One of them was the game we had against Kentucky just because I wanted to watch John Wall and Demarcus Cousins. The other was against LSU.Â
Dear NBA,
Thanks for rescinding Perkins techincal foul, now how about Glen Davis' injury, and the game 5 loss that you literally robbed the Celtics chances from in the 2nd quarter.
Sincerely, Go F Yourselves
PS. How about you grow a pair, and give the 2005-2006 Mavs some sort of reparations, because you're the biggest joke in professional sports.
Artest pulled a Robert Horry, thank god. He redeemed himself big time. No way we should have let that 18 point lead dwindle, either.

I'd laugh more at the Lakers for giving up an 18 point leadArtest pulled a Robert Horry, thank god. He redeemed himself big time. No way we should have let that 18 point lead dwindle, either.

Props to the Suns for making a comeback, just wasn't enough...
Rajon Rondo clotheslines Brad Miller
Rajon Rondo throws Hinrich into scorer's table
KG cheap shot on Bellinelli #1
KG cheap shot on Bellinelli #2
KG elbows Lamarcus Aldridge
KG elbows QRich, gets ejected/suspended 1 games
KG hits Bogut in the face
KG hits Joakim Noah in face then throws an elbow at midsection
KG cheap shot on Zaza
and people get upset about Dwight Howard:D
I don't see how anyone can complain about Artest hitting that layup... that was COMPLETE hustle and strength... just like Gasol hitting that layup in the thunder series... don't be mad because our players play hard :D. elpoozThe Lakers ALWAYS do this **** though...last minute wins. Derek Fisher, Robert Horry, Ron Artest...I'm ****ing sick of it. For ten years I've had to deal with this bull****.
That's because Dwight Howard walks away like he didn't do anything, and just pretends like he can't control how physical he plays. He knows and it gets under the other team's skin.and people get upset about Dwight Howard:D

how do you feel about Vince Carter?,

Mixed feelings. He has flashes of brilliance like his old days but for the most part he is washed up now and not a great contributor. Vince's play in the 2nd quarter was amazing (12 pts and great passing) but he needs to be doing that for the whole night....Â
I wonder what moves the Magic will make this offseason but Rashard Lewis' and Vince's contracts kinda prevents us from doing anything really until next year.
I expect Jason Williams to retire. I would like to see us make a move to get CJ Watson from GS to be our new backup PG. We tried to get him this past offseason but didn't have enough money. CJ has openly stated how much he's been wanting to play for us.
If we do make a big move its either going to be by trading Rashard or Vince but other than that I can't really see anything big happening until 2 years.
Â
Supposedly Hedo was on a Turkish tv show last night saying how he wants out of Toronto lol. I doubt anyone would trade for him and his $53 million contract so he might get bought out....
It would be nice to have him back in Orlando but the reason we let him walk last year was because he was asking for waaaay too much money and waaay too many years, not that we did not want him on our team anymore. Since no one in their right mind will give him that kind of money he might be able to come back to Orlando at a discount now if he does in fact get bought out.
Toronto is gonna go the way of the Grizzlies
Hell the Grizzlies had so many chances to be great. We had Shareef, Steve Francis, we could have had Kobe, imagine that...
But no one wanted to be with us, we wasted our talent, and fans didn't care anymore. Then look at what happened.
The only thing Toronto has over the Grizzlies is the money to pay the salaries but I don't know, if people keep wanting out and if Bosh leaves Toronto is veritably boned.Â
Grizz > Raptors...
Vancouver never had the popularity to sustain a basketball team. The decision to expand to Vancouver was overstretching the NBA, and the Grizz were going to move to Memphis whether that team was good or bad. For the record, the Grizz have put together some pretty good teams in recent years, and I wouldnt be surprised to see them make a playoff run next year tbh.
As for the Raptors...well, they stink. I'd rather be with the Grizz, than the Raptors...that team has wasted far more talent than the Grizz have.

Celtics better be prepared. This isn't the 2008 Lakers they're going up against

Lakers beware too, Celtics just took out the Cavaliers and Magic, two teams that did better than the Lakers in the seasonCeltics better be prepared. This isn't the 2008 Lakers they're going up against

Not to mention they've got a new aresenal on the bench more then capable to pick it up as proven already thru Davis, Robinson, Sheed, etc.Â

Regular season performance means practically nothing in the playoffs... the 16 that are coming in are coming into an entirely different atmosphere and level of play. That being said, the Celtics having worse records than the Cavs and Magic but beating them doesn't count for much... post-season teams are 10x different than their regular-season counterparts. And even looking at regular season records, the Celtics weren't that far behind either of those teams really...Â
Anyway, if you think the Celtics are taking a championship against one of the best teams of this decade because of Davis (lol), Robinson (lol, one semi-big game) and mr. ball don't lie (aka mr. inconsistent as hell), I don't know what to tell you. Odom > your whole bench. Farmar > Robinson. And our starters take some dookies on yours... Only thing I'm even worried about from you offensively is Pierce, and Rondo to a good extent. I'm almost certain Fisher can contain him decently, considering the great defense he played on both Nash and Williams... And Pierce... well, he'll hit, but if you think he'll be answering Kobe offensively, you've got your hopes too high. Overall though, our team is just way different. Bynum being in the paint is going to be a BIG factor (I'm still convinced that him not being there, + our lack of focus late in the series, is why we lost two seasons ago) simply because of his size and strength. Our bench has had extreme energy and their running game is going to confuse your defense on transition quite a bit. And speaking of defense, I wouldn't be surprised if Artest reduced Pierce to just an okay scorer like he did with Durant. Pierce is a great player, but watching the games against the Cavs and the Magic, most of his points came off of easy catch-and-shoots that he was handed by the defense. If the Lakers focus, he won't be getting those easy corner jumpers or open threes...
Lakers in 7.Â
no, lol @ "Old Man Fisher" containing Nash and the much younger, much more talented, skilled and efficient Williams...
If you think he's going to have considerable trouble with Rondo after the job he's done in the last 8 games, then you need to go back and watch them again. Rondo is a great PG, but Fisher has stepped up his defensive game this post-season.Â
