lebron alongside harris would be a terrible idea. harris has to have the ball in his hands in order to be effective on offense, he drives and he creates plays, thats what he does. he's a terrible 3 point shooter. same goes for douglas roberts and willaims. they're slashers, they have no out side shots. lee is pretty average from deep but i wouldnt rely on him. lebron drives to the basket to make plays, why would you surround him with 3 other players that do the same? in clevland he has about 4 guys that can shoot over 38% from 3 including big Z. you guys have jarvis hayes, kenyon dooling and bobby simmons. three nobody bench players.
lebron on clevenad isnt even better than a healthy celtics and magic team much less him on the nets. thats just silly. hell cleveland even added anothy parker who is deadly from three. hes got about 4-5 good three point shooters around him, thats why the cavs win and thats how he gets a lot of his assists. drive and kicking it out.
Ariza might be playing great, but there's one thing he won't have at the end of the reason: a ring. so he can tak his 33 points on the rockets. i know he will be feeling like an idiot when walton ( :lol: ) gets another ring, and not him. And the Rockets aren't taking a championship anytime soon...
Anyway, this season is going to be more difficult, but we will still do great. Bynum is starting up well, and if he keeps this momentum, we will own under the rim. It doesn't look like Artest is all that in sync with us yet, but he's getting there so whatever... Great guard, so I'm glad we got him.Â

i wasn't replying to you lol. just commenting on Ariza in general. and i thought that he chose to leave, but either way, Artest is a good player so we'll be alright without Ariza. it would have been better to keep him, but oh well. losing him isn't going to stop us from winning again
Word. From what I've seen the Magic are more dangerous than the Lakers just because of the amount of points they can put up in a game, but the Celtics are looking like they are on the same level as either. They picked up some great guys to come off the bench this year (Wallace of course, and Marquis Daniels too), plus Eddie House has continued to devastate opponents off the bench. Once Big Baby gets back, he'll see regular minutes as well. I've been impressed with the Magic, and the Lakers are looking good, but not looking like the uncontested champs everyone is making them out to be. It's only four games in, but the Celtics are looking excellent so far.

I think the Lakers are confident playing anybody. They're the champs. I think they know the Suns will be a tough game though. Especially if we don't have Pau or Bynum. I'm just saying that I expect the Lakers to be really charged up for this game, first place in the division on the line, a chance to make a statement.

To whoever was talking about the Suns - i don't think the Lakers have any reason to be afraid of them... they are doing well and have some momentum, but we're the champs. it's gonna be a good game, but i really don't think they are sweating it. us not having Bynum OR Gasol would be realllllly bad though.

i've been hating on the kings for a while but they're pretty legit. their coach, evans, thompson, a lot of their other players. seriously they have to trade martin. he doesn't even make sense with evans.

yeah, im thinking if we can move K-Mart for a lottery pick we could do some serious damage in a few years. You were always underrating us though. JT is a double double guy, Evans is a legitimate threat (probably the strongest player playing PG right now, and he'd be one of the strongest if he was playing the two guard also) Hawes is inconsistent but coming along, and we have steals like Casspi (aka the next Peja) and Brockman from this years draft that have shown flashes...couple that with Garcia, and Greene and this team could be a legitimate contender in a few years. We just need a #1...preferrably a PG, or a dominant big man. I don't think Evans is fit for the point....I really don't. Udrih is handling it with Martin out, but he's really better off as a backup.
