Sacramento Kings workout vids:
Video 1:Â Ekpe Udoh, 6-foot-10, Baylor /// Hassan Whiteside, 7-foot-0, Marshall /// Cole Aldrich, 6-foot-11, Kansas /// Ryan Richards, 6-foot-10, Kalise Gran Canaria /// Daniel Orton, 6-foot-10, Kentucky.Â
Daniel Orton's footwork looks atrocious, he is traveling on basically every low post move...
Video 2: Greg Monroe, 6'11", Georgetown. Wearing the Dunkman Lebrons...Â
Videos with Derrick Favors and Demarcus Cousins are supposed to be coming soon.Â
if we take cole aldrich at the fifth pick im going to cry. his jumper looked a lot better than i expected though.
monroe...still meh.Â
That call on Wallace fouling Gasol in the 1st quarter was one of the worse calls I've ever seen. Gasol tripped over himself and fell and the refs called a foul on Wallace. :| Even the commentors said it wasn't a foul and that Gasol tripped over himselfSwanogt19
you just took a huge validity dump. (that was a bad call though).
right now it's looking like sac is most likely to take monroe which leaves us with johnsonrubbersouIseems like the most likely scenario. you guys wouldn't consider cole aldrich also? :P:lol:
just to add on to this, i'd much rather have cole aldrich at this point at #5 than greg monroe, and i HATE cole aldrich as a top 5 player. greg monroe is a bigger jason thompson. he's kind of a mix of hawes and thompson....brad miller if you will. except he plays no defense, and he looks slow imo. at least he's better than hawes...ugh, i hate petrie. we'll be rebuilding again for the next five years if we take monroe at this pick :| that or be mediocre for the next ten years. think the nuggets with carmelo and iverson :| or wizards before gilbert arenas lost his damn mind.
monroe reminds me of like an old chris webberrubbersouI...but not nearly as athletic, and with a ****ty ceiling...ie. Brad miller :P
Whiteside has been catching a lot of Kings' fans eyes...personally I like what he could bring to the team, but I'm not sold on waiting two or three years before he blossoms into something worth talking about. He could be a potential pick for the Warriors also.
i like monroe but he isn't a top 5 pick and would not be a good fit on sac in my opinion. i agree with colt for once, yall might be better off with cousins lol.
and wow, gordon hayward as a top 10 pick according to espn is just crazy. i like the dude but he is a late first round pick at best
and luke babbitt at 9??? who are these experts and why cant you see a bust when you see one???? just by looking at they guy you can tell he's gonna be an average role player at besti like monroe but he isn't a top 5 pick and would not be a good fit on sac in my opinion. i agree with colt for once, yall might be better off with cousins lol.

Ah okay, I took it as you relying on their credibility...Â
Lakers don't have what it takes to win. Plain and simple.
Â
No energy or nothing. Nobody showed except Kobe.
only reason why the lakers had a chance in this game is because they kept getting so many calls. freakin' artest and fisher were flopping around like it's nobodies business ALL GAME [I didn't watch the 4th quarter so excuse me if my posts don't account for it--Breaking Bad >>>> NBA Finals].
Oh, and Kobe was unconscious...lol, the rest of them cats played like scrubs. So happy the Celts busted that ass tonight.
cousins isn't going to workout for minny because he expects them to take johnson/ doesn't want to play for them. he also isn't going to workout for gs because he doesn't want to play for them. sac could take him but people are saying they like monroe more. my top pick is cousins even if he doesn't want to play here, then johnson then aldrich/monroe i haven't decided who i like.rubbersouIif they take monroe i will kill myself.
honestly with the way its looking you guys will have your choice of aldrich/johnson/cousins. at least two of those guys will be open. i think petrie will take whiteside or monroe. he's known for taking guys that no one expects. it's worked out for him in some regards [jason thompson, peja] but i think it will fail in this regard...especially if its monroe.
Cole Adrich sucks. Monroe is a million times better than him.
The Kings worked out Cousins and Favors. Their post workout interviews are online but no footage of the workouts yet...

at least for what this team needs. granted, aldrich is NOT worth the #5 pick, but for what he could give us as a role player i'll take it. still, id feel much better about aldrich if we were picking around 15 or so.
dam the entire team besides Kobe played like crap. Good news is, the last 2 games are in LAandyboiii
Yeah, at least we get to go home and have a chance to improve. No one besides Kobe played well offensively and we were terrible defensively. I've watched almost every Lakers game this season, and I don't think I've seen LA play any worse then they did last night, offensively and defensively. We have to go home and man the **** up.

I wanted to turn my TV off at one point... I'm happy that Kobe stepped up and did what he had to when his team wasn't performing, but that was a horrible performance by everyone else... atleast pau kept trying and played hard, but him not hitting and getting blocked over and over again really didn't help.... I think we could have tied that up if we hadn't gotten BS'ed on that air ball. Kobe was unstoppable in the 3rd and 4th.
I love how people think this is over... Boston had a good night, but they have been extremely inconsistent on both a player-to-player basis and overall... this is one of the teams that is infamous for choking in the NBA, if anyone can mess this up, it's them. And you seem to forget that the best player in the league, arguably the best coach in the league, one of, if not the best, big men/man in the league and one of the best benches in the league are all in our possession... if you think Kobe is going to let himself or his team play poorly in this situation, you're nuts... this is going to 7 for sure and I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if we took the title.Â
I want a videotape of Kobe and his team on their way back to LA... I want to see how badly he and Phil gave it to them
[QUOTE="mischa_barton"]lol Lakers fans with their one game a season intensity. Take some damn lessons.andyboiii

Boston fans don't have reason to talk any ****. Our arena is packed, regardless of the Lakers record. Can't say the same for Boston. When the team sucked they didn't give a damn. It was the same way with the Bruins too.
One game a season intensity  ? RIGHT.
"All the Lakers besides Kobe are weak" - LOL. Yep, that's why we're returning champs and are crushing the Celtics on both sides of the court right now? And about proving you wrong, turn the game on.
I told yall this isn't over... Celtics fans have a history of getting ahead of themselves and putting too much faith in their inconsistent team though, so it's all good.Â
Â
Anyway... Ron-Ron is back 8)... Loving it.Â

I just find it funny when Lakers were sucking the years after 2004, Staples Center was still filling up with their fans whereas Boston was struggling with their attendance until the Big 3 came along

you do realize Los Angeles and its suburbrs probably have 10x as many people as metro Boston. The Lakers had one season where they werent in at least the conference semifinals. The Celtics had been mediocre since the early 90's.And word up to halftime... when LA fell off and we couldn't even make a playoffs, fans were still there. Until you guys picked it up and started becoming more prominent, I didn't hear a DAMN thing about the Celtics, from ANYONE. You guys have no pride in your team when they aren't running things. You guys come alive after twenty years RIGHT when your team does...... hmmm. You'll never hear me be quiet about the Lakers. Hell, the first LA game I went to was when they had their worst season of the 2000s. elpoozdude you were probably 5 the last time the Lakers had a losing record save the one season you guys are clinging to.
