Cavs lucked out big time. #1 and #4 overall. Kyrie Irving + Enes Kanter ftw. 

Clippers are the big losers on draft night because they basically traded Baron Davis + #1 overall pick for Mo Williams. Kyrie Irving playing alongside Blake Griffin would've been sick. 

clearly rigged. stern felt bad for cleveland afte the lbj fiasco, and think of the story ESPN can tell with the rebuilding of cleveland. stern wants nothing more than to make a competetive cleveland team to schedule primetime games for against the heat...dan gilbert vs. lebron, kyrive vs lebron, the city of cleveland vs lebron. oh the list goes on!

Stern gave them two top 5 picks simply because he could...though he naturally made it so that the two top5 picks are in the same draft, and the thinnest draft in years. cleveland may rebound from this, but will never become a real contender....exactly what stern wants. well played.

They were showing Game 6 of the Heat vs Mavs 2006 Finals matchup on NBA TV earlier. Mavs are waaaay better this year compared to then. They were running Marquis Daniels a ton at PG, had Diop/Dampier at center.

The Heat are better too... but it does depend on whether you'd rather have Wade/Lebron/Bosh (more overall talent) or Wade/Shaq (better inside/outside combo). This was when Shaq was just starting his downfall. Heat had Payton, Posey and Zo off the bench.

I remember when Miami got Bosh and James almost everyone said that they would never reach the finals.
That it was still the Celtics show in the East and they MIGHT go to round 1 in the playoffs and loose because they would have no chemistry together and on top of that they got 3 ballhawks....

well guess what their in the Finals and almost everyone was wrong about them.

But they were right about 1 thing, their chemisty is very new together and the fact that they got this far is amazing and they will only get better from here on. I honestly think Miami is about to be a Dynasty for years to come and we will be seeing them in the Finals a lot.

Honestly I would rather have Miami as the most dominate team rather than the Lakers

Hell, Chicago probably would've beat Miami as well if they would've been smart and traded for a SG that could create his own shot at the deadline.

Kyrie and Derrick Williams are #1 and #2.

Everything I've seen and heard about Enes Kanter makes me think he's the 3rd best player in the draft but he sat out the past year and teams may be scared to take him. Since the Jazz have Al Jefferson, Millsap and Favors I don't think they'll pick him. They may be inclined to pick Brandon Knight since they just traded away D-Will. 

After that I'm not too crazy about any of the guys.

what are your predictions for the Finals? I'm going with Mavs in 6... almost want to say 5. They have so many different weapons and ways to beat you.

I bet $400 on the Heat and I never really bet on sports, I'm really confident that they're going to take the series. I'd be pretty shocked if the Mavs could pull this out but I hope they do (I'll take a little bit of a financial hit if it means LeBron & Bosh won't get a ring).
