dilla, what do you think minnesota does at #2? this is a weak draft, but most expect irving or williams to be there at #2...who do the twolves take if either? And if Williams, do you replace him with Beasley?Colt45fool
Honestly, I want the Wolves to take Williams, and trade Beasley and Rubio, cause Rubio will play in the NBA, but he's too big of a ***** to man up and play for the team who drafted him, NBA has just become a big ego league, I blame two of my favorite players Garnett and Allen; and Beasley is just too raw, and we don't have anyone to mentor him.

[QUOTE="Ryder004"]am i the only one getting sick of the world wrtiing no stop lebron james jokes on facebook...mems_1224

there's so many out there that I don't even bother anymore. I'm a Lebron hater and will continue to be but I think it's reached a point where it has got a little tiresome

yea all these people need to hop off the hate bandwagon. im an OG hater, been doing it since he was in high school.

I've only rooted for Lebron's teams to win the last two years (due to Shaq and Wade being on the teams, respectively)Ā  He has led to epic fails....

That hasn't been confirmed, and with the impending lockout, who knows? If not I'm still kinda pissed at him. Same stands for Beasley...

rubio could still end up in minnesota. i bet minny gets rid of flynn before they get rid of rubio at this point [which is a shame--because the kings should really inquire about rubio if he's made available]

COMPLETELY AGREE on the last part. I love Garnett and Allen, and I love what the Celtics did, but this creating a super team nonsense is pissing me off. It's what's going to keep small market teams that get no David Stern love from becoming powerhouse franchises again [see: Milwaukee, Sacramento, Minnesota, etc.] Nobody wants to go to those teams to make a super team, and in 5 years when there's 3 all stars on 5 or 6 teams in the league will ****ing suck for hardcore fans of small markets :( pisses me off.Ā

rubio is all hype. he's gonna be an avereage starting pg

and hopefully they fix all that stuff so that its not easy to create a super team. they need to make it harder for stars to leave small market teams and need to get rid of stars holding their teams hostage with impending free agency. also nba owners need to stop siging all these stupid contracts and over paying role players. its no one but the owners fault that the nba is losing money. stupid contracts and making big arenas.

I loved seeing Garnett win a championship, but it's bound to ruin every team outside of Boston, NY, Miami, Chicago, and LA. It's becoming the mlb where large markets get all the players, but with teams that can be built into automatic championship teams with 2-3 superstars. I'm sure Dallas can stay with them, but the last time winning or even being in the running with one star might be the end.

mems_1224

it's a rumor, not going to happen at all.

I wouldnt be totally against the trade of #2 for Washington's #6 and Javale McGee, but probably not a great move. We should just stick with the pick, unless we can deal it and Beasley for someone solid.

ive heard the #2 pick going for pau gasol, tony parker, and steve nash. idk what minnesota's thinking about. why don't they just trade rubio to sac-town for our #1 pick? draft biyombo and williams and keep it moving. trade beasley for a PG.

We need a 4th potential starting SF.

There was a live feed of the Orlando Magic war room on nba.com last night and I watched that on and off during the draft. A lot of people were expecting something big to happen with the Magic. There were someĀ substantial rumorsĀ floating around about Josh Smith or Andre Miller being traded.

SoĀ sometime in the 2nd round Otis Smith and a bunch of other people in the war room were giving each other fist bumps, high fives, and getting excited... and all that happened was the Magic traded two future 2nd round picks for Justin Harper lol.

ROFL.

the kings are bloody stupid. the jimmer trade is MORONIC...not just because we took jimmer, but because we traded beno for freakin' john salmons :| THE MALOOFS CANNOT POSSIBLY BE THIS DUMB.

if the kings wanted jimmer why didn't they just take him at 7? no, they didnt want to be the laughing stock of the nba, so they trade for him, give up biyombo [who ive wanted them to take for the longest time] and take an extra 10 million in salary for a bummy swingman. WHY DO WE KEEP ADDING MEDIOCRE PLAYERS WITH CRAP CONTRACTS?!?!

i would have been more receptive to seeing us just take jimmer at 7...if you want westphal to play thornton-evans-jimmer as the rotation at guard then freakin' tell westphal thats who you want to see play. christ. buy out his damn contract if you have to. maloofs are morons. so is geoff petrie. im sick of this team ruining basketball for me. **** the Kings.

I'm excited about Darius Morris, I don't watch college ball but from everything I heard he's a good defender and leader and he does shoot a high percentage on twos. Plus, he's an LA guy which is cool.

Ā

I like Goudelock as well. He was a gunner in school apparently but he shoots really high on 3's which we really need and from his interviews he has a ton of confidence. And I've heard form some experts that he's a hard worker. Good stuff.Ā

Ā

Should have gotten Brandon Knight.Ā  I think that would have a better chance of having a solid back-court with him and Tyreke.Ā  Biyombo is a draft pick on hopes.Ā  At best he will probably just be a solid defender.Ā  Either way, I think it's really hard to say because this draft appears like it will end up turning out pretty poor players in comparison to other recent drafts.Ā  The Cavs had to take Thompson at the #4 pick....

Brandon Knight would have been a nice pick also. I still wanted Biyombo over him...mainly because we have no defenders down low besides Dalembert and Dally's contract is almost up.Ā

Big man rotation of JT-Biyombo-Cousins woulda been dope...now we're holding out hope for Hassan Whiteside to come through...or to re-sign Dally. Which would be fine personally...though when this team is ready to contend he'll be ready to retire.

That with a rotation of Udrih-Thornton-Evans and the ever revolving door of Casspi-Greene-Garcia at the 3 would have satisfied me...the positions we need aren't going to be found in this draft. So better to take a role player like Biyombo and guarantee another lottery pick next year...hopefully to grab a PG or a SF. At this point the Kings need to move to Anaheim...then Stern will give us a 'lucky bounce' to get the #1 pick. That would be the day...Ā

yall played in the triangle though which is notorious for ruining point guards, especially young ones

Ā when rambis is gone though you're gonna have an exciting team to watch with all those high fliers and one of the best outlet passers in a while in kevin love

Minnesota running the triangle was so dumb, it's a great system but if you don't have any players that fit the triangle and still try to run it it's akin to banging your head against a wall repeatedly.

Orlando, what do you think about the Magic's chances of landing Josh Smith? That seems to be a big rumor lately, and although he would be a great addition, they would probably have to trade Jameer away, and I don't think I want to see Gilbert Arenas starting...
