OT: Pokemon Draft [tournament matches set up; choose winner slore!]

TOURNAMENT SET UP!

Brackets were set up based on draft position. In other words, first person of the draft order is going up against the last person in the same around...2nd person in the order goes up against 2nd to last, etc. etc.

some details

you pick 6 pokemon. try to pick the best possible combination for your pokebelt. there is no reason for this, outside of bragging rights.  i suppose you could discuss why your set of six would whoop anyone's tail.

pick times will be smart. between 12 PM and 12 AM...3 hours per person for pick time. rules subject to change but prolly not. if you wont be available for your pick time PM me your top 3 selections.

I actually just bought White a few weeks after not having played a Pokemon game in years. It's fun but not as appealing when I was younger...great for riding the bus though. The new pokemon don't live up to the original but that's probably my nostalgia.

in any case, you can't pick the younger form [ie. i pick metapod, you can't pick butterfree]. however you can pick ones like jolteon, vaporeon, and flareon seperately even if someone wants eevee [who would want eevee anyways?]

I'm pretty sure Mewtwo's like the 10th strongest pokemon now.

I bought Pokemon Diamond when that came out and I remember there was a website made by this guy who takes pokemon really seriously...he had really long write-ups and ratings for every fully evolved pokemon there was at that point. I definitely remember Mewtwo didn't get the highest rating.
