I don't think you can pick Dragonair either. I thought the rule was once one pokemon from an evolution line was picked then the rest from the line are off the board (except for Eevee's evolutions). Since Orlando picked Dragonite then Dragonair or Dratini can't be pickedJML897

Venusaur is extremely resistant to grass and is has high att. Raichu has low defense, which means Raichu would get 1 hit ko'd by it most likely. Mewtwo could also take it down quickly. So what do you do then lol? Telling you man, two flying types = bad move. Doesn't matter if they are legendary. Having two fire types doens't help you much either... Kabutops could take out your whole team besides Raichu, which will end up being half of your final team lol.

Raichu takes out kabutops, ninetails takes out venosaur, that leaves me the two legendary birds against Mewtwo if not maybe ninetails too.  Raichu is also probably one of the fastest pokemon so he has high evade.

That's assuming you get the match ups you want, like all of them in your favor. He could switch pokemon at any time and put you at a disadvantage lol. Who said he'd put out Kabutops first and you'd put out Raichu first? Doesn't work like that. Bottom line is, he has a clear advantage. Ghost pokemon have an immunity to normal attacks and maybe fighting, but they aren't any more evasive than other pokemon. Flying aren't either, they just usually have immunity to ground.

really, ninjas ain't messing with this crew right now...you can argue fire can take me out but dewgong and chansey has it under control. Gengar could do damage, but in gen 1 iirc psychic were resistant against ghost. electric has no shot with exeggutor and aerodactyl. grass = death with mew and exeggutor. so many match up problems for so many ****. rock and ground get ruined by ex and dewgong. 

the only type of attack that could do damage is ice...aerodactyl and exeggutor would be screwed. considering chansey's ability to learn TMs though, im sure i can cover all weaknesses through it.

venusaur would get owned by mew or exeggutor...kabutops has no shot against exeggutor because exeggutor is grass and kabutops is ground/water...golem would get wrecked by dewgong, exeggutor, or mew. Cloyster is the only issue I'd have but if I teach Chansey electric attacks like Thunder and Thunderbolt, Cloyster is screwed [and to even out my team I probably would because it'd help with water/flying/ice along with the attack that gives Chansey all of its health and something like mega kick to help with rock/normal pokemon.]

mewtwo could probably beat mew, but idk if id want mew on mewtwo anyways...i'd probably prefer chansey on mewtwo because of her high HP, and ability to kick ass with attacks like hyper beam/thunder/thunder bolt.

Chansey is honestly one of the best pokemon from the first generation. One of my friends used to tell me that people would come to pokemon tournaments with teams full of chanseys and would just cheese with them because chansey can learn some sick moves (defense curl + heal pulse + hyper beam + minimize/refresh = boss). They would just outlast every pokemon's PP and then slowly kill them with egg bomb. I think teams of just one kind of pokemon are banned in whatever online tournaments they have now.

Chansey was my next pick... was going to be my first but I wanted to get some non-normal types to start.

golem, venusaur and cloyster have a really high defense though those are my offensive lineman. let them wear your team down before i let my QB do his thang
