Idea: We should add moves for our pokemon...then tournament style tally which team would be the best set of six.
Two teams of course, wouldn't even make it to the tournament...
it will be pretty subjective if we're just voting, no? I don't even remember moves lol.Idea: We should add moves for our pokemon...then tournament style tally which team would be the best set of six.

Could just vote based on types alone...create a general top 8 teams, set up seeds, and vote based on who you think would win a matchup.

Should just have a vote on what team is the coolest, because there are like 1,000,000 ways a pokemon battle could go lol. I remember beating almost the whole elite four in one of the games with just my Crobat (Crobat is a boss), but if someone sees a regular pokemon matched up against a mewtwo, they're gonna be like ohhh mewtwo wins just because it's mewtwo and legendary, even though the other pokemon could beat it in like a million ways.
Should just vote on what team is the most well-rounded or balanced or which would look the coolest.
Well, I've been targeting the strongest pokemon, not necessarily "the coolest"Apocalypse33same.
if i was targeting the coolest i woulda took like scyther, lickitung, bulbasaur, etc.

It's your pick, see the topic title.

Then it should be by how well the teams are balanced I guess. Every other way would be pretty subjective because there are so many ways match ups could go. But like if someone has all fire pokemon, they are most likely gonna lose to someone with 1-2 strong water pokemon, because 1 water-type could sweep the whole team.
I choose
Flareon
and
Pinsir
Edit: My bad, I just looked on the taken pokemon list and Starmie wasn't on it.

Other than Mewtwo my legendary Birds alone would wipe out your team. Hell just Moltres alone.

kabutops is rock/water, moltres would be screwed. articuno is weak against rock and so are ninetails and raichu. any rock type pokemon would wipe out all of your team[QUOTE="Apocalypse33"]word, you got a 5 year old girl's dream teammy team is pretty damn powerful, brahdude my team owns yours. It's an advantage but not necessarily a predictor of victory. Raichu is weak to ground not rock, brah.mems would win ^... choosing two flying types was a bad choice lol. doens't matter if they have better stats, type weakness means a lot... it makes moves 2x-4x stronger. Both Moltres and Articuno could be 1 hit Ko'd by Kabutops because of their 4x weakness to rock and there goes the "strongest" parts of your team lol. Not to mention, kabutops is resistant to fire if I remember correcty... elpoozhe's also 2x weak against electric...sooo raichu would take care of that

Venusaur is extremely resistant to grass and is has high att. Raichu has low defense, which means Raichu would get 1 hit ko'd by it most likely. Mewtwo could also take it down quickly. So what do you do then lol? Telling you man, two flying types = bad move. Doesn't matter if they are legendary. Having two fire types doens't help you much either... Kabutops could take out your whole team besides Raichu, which will end up being half of your final team lol.

Raichu takes out kabutops, ninetails takes out venosaur, that leaves me the two legendary birds against Mewtwo if not maybe ninetails too. Raichu is also probably one of the fastest pokemon so he has high evade.
[QUOTE="Apocalypse33"]also, aren't flying types supposed to have an advantage as you can't really hit them if they are all flying around and stuff?JML897
In that case the guy who picked Gengar wins by default because you can't hit a ghost either
the ghost types are tangible when they fight, no? TBH I feel like no one can really beat Mew or Mewtwo unless you got a whole team against them.

This is correct.

That's assuming you get the match ups you want, like all of them in your favor. He could switch pokemon at any time and put you at a disadvantage lol. Who said he'd put out Kabutops first and you'd put out Raichu first? Doesn't work like that. Bottom line is, he has a clear advantage. Ghost pokemon have an immunity to normal attacks and maybe fighting, but they aren't any more evasive than other pokemon. Flying aren't either, they just usually have immunity to ground.
