WTF is wrong with that guy!? Shooting a kid ten times and killing him because he egged his car? It's just a car, and egg comes off quite easy. To all the people who are saying things along the lines of "he should have seen this coming", really? Like you guys have never pulled a prank that went a little far or done something stupid. You don't deserve to die for it.

Egg, once it dries on paint is nearly impossible to get off a car. While the kid shouldn't have been killed over it and yes, the man should be charged with murder, the kid should have used his head and not tossed the egg to begin with.

Gun control laws only serve to keep weapons out of the hands of those who are legally entitled to own them. Criminals, the ones who such laws are aimed at, do not work. If someone wants a weapon, they will get it no matter what. Laws do not stop criminals. Gun control laws do not work.

He probably won't though the way our legal system works... Rich guy like that driving a Mercedes probably has a savvy lawyer... And he will probably argue self defense as it was dark and the kid could have been throwing anything at him... Then he could argue that he drove away because he did not know he needed to stick around in the case of self defense...

Not a matter of truth, just a matter of how well his lawyer can argue his case and how much he can corrupt the prosecutions case in the minds of the jury... Because the way our criminal court works... It is all or nothing, unless all of the jury want to convict, he gets a mistrial and is free to go until the next trial.

And if they can do that 2-3 times, judges usually dismiss indictments and it is as if nothing ever happened.

Don't mean to be the bearer of racial news... But this happened in Atlanta, and the kid shot was named "Tivarus King" and the guy who shot him was driving around in the middle of the night, in Atlanta, in a Mercedes, with a gun...

It isn't like this is some case of a law abiding gun license carrying citizen over-reacting and using his weapon...
