PROLOGUE ESTABLISHING THE ISSUE
The OTcars this year have revealed a moral crisis within the OT community. One must recognize the moral implications of the votes cast, the variety of nominees for each caption, and even the captions themselves. One must recognize that the morality of a situation is a reflection of the ethical principles of those involved. One must understand what ethics are the decisions that guide a mans life, that define the nature, meaning, and purpose of his existence and recognize their necessity to live as a man, and soon to live at all.
The moral implications for these awards are so disturbing because of the extent that there is none and the absence is the indication of a stagnant amorality that has paralyzed the lives of the users here and left them vulnerable to the evils of altruism, socialism, statism, collectivism, and ultimately unrestricted totalitarianism. I list them in that order because that is the order in which they occur.
1. Altruism - The fundamental evil that allows all of the atrocities that follow. The philosophy that a man has no right to exist for his own sake, that bondage and servitude is the only justification for his existence, and that self-sacrifice suicide is his moral duty.
2. Socialism - the doctrine that a mans life and work belong to society rather than himself. This is the establishment of a political philosophy based on altruism.
3. Statism - The doctrine that a mans life and work belong to the state. This is the logical continuation of the socialist philosophy.
4. Collectivism - The subordination of the individual to the group. This is the consequence of statism.
5. Totalitarianism - The absolute and unquestioned rule of the government over the people. This is the ultimate realization of altruism with all of its implications and necessities. This is the death of the individual, and of the will and reason to live.
The entire OTcar process has been marked by the corruption of altruism, which makes the other isms an inevitability, unless the corruption is rejected and replaced with a moral conviction to individualism and its implications - life, liberty, and prosperity. It must be understood that altruism is the doctrine of death, and that it can only lead to death. It must be understood that individualism is the doctrine of life, and the only alternative to altruism - the only alternative to death.
Users refuse to vote for themselves out of humility. They vote against themselves out of shame, fear, and a sense of duty - a vague belief that they are acting as they are supposed to. They never ask the question: why? Why must I not vote for myself when I believe that I deserve the award? Why must I vote for someone else to receive an award that I do not believe he has earned? Why is abstinence from voting at all the only alternative to voting against my self-esteem, my purpose, and what is rightfully mine?
The dilemma of the candidates casts a shadow on the other voters as well. The extent to which each candidate deserves an award is determined by the extent to which he rejects any claim of deserving the award. Voters vote against those who vote for themselves, and vote for those who vote for someone else. The values of the participants (candidates and voters) both contradict logic and reason. The credibility of the entire process is brought into question, but only to the rational mind - the independently critical and discerning mind.
The OTcars then becomes a battle: between reason and anti-reason, between logic and illogic, between pride and shame, between good and evil - between individualism and altruism. The implications of the outcome of this battle determine the course of the lives of all involved, and of all that they are associated with. The battle establishes a principal, which is the answer to the question: Do I live for my own sake, or do I live to be thrown away for others?
The implications of this question can already be seen in the world beyond this forum, and they have been for thousands of years. The masses have wallowed in apathy and ignorance, refusing to acknowledge it, while the tyrants herd them into flocks to serve them under the pretense that they are acting for honor, duty, virtue the definitions of which have remained undefined.
The moral failure of humanity - that is, the failure to recognize morality, to recognize good from evil, to recognize the necessity of reason for life as a man is approaching its climax: the looters have ravaged the planet to the breaking point and the critical question of why we live can no longer be ignored, because without explicitly rejecting altruism we cannot continue living.
The climax of the crisis has become a battle between the force of good and the force of evil, between individualism and altruism, between laissez-faire capitalism (the only moral social system), and totalitarian socialism. The compromise we have been living in, that has been destroying itself with its fundamental contradictions, has reached its breaking point. The moral crisis of OT is a reflection of the moral crisis of all of humanity, and as a thing determines the nature of its reflection, the reflection determines the nature of what is being reflected.
Ayn Rand was the greatest champion of good - of life, liberty, reason, and meaning that had ever existed. Ayn Rand came into a world that was breaking and struggled against evil to end the destruction and lead the world into an age of prosperity that is unlike anything that has ever existed. She failed in her purpose, because she was too early. The world had not yet reached the point of no return, evil was still growing, still wrecking the planet, and the sheep did not yet stand on the edge of a cliff to turn back from they were still on their way toward it. Ayn Rand could not save us, but her struggles left us with hope: hope of a successor to use her philosophical accomplishments as a foundation to battle against evil when the time came.
But you ask: If Ayn Rand is the great champion of good, who is the great champion of evil, of altruism, socialism, statism, collectivism, and totalitarianism? The answer is: Barrack Obama. He and his supporters will claim that he is not a totalitarian, despite being the rest, but totalitarianism is an inevitability when one establishes altruism as a virtue and has progressed through the stages of socialism, statism, and collectivism.
But then you ask: If the moral crisis of OT is a reflection of the larger crisis of humanity, who is the reflection of Ayn Rand? Who is the reflection of Barrack Obama? Vuurk was OTs great champion of good, of life, of liberty, of freedom, of meaning. Sun Tzu is its great champion of evil, of altruism, of socialism, of statism, of collectivism, and of totalitarianism. Like Ayn Rand, Vuurk came to soon and was rejected. Vuurk is gone now, but his seed endured.
Then you ask: If Vuurk came too soon, who is his successor? Who is the champion of good to lead us to life and prosperity? Who can battle the malicious destruction of Sun Tzus immoral influence? The answer is: Me. I am your hope. I am your champion. I am your deliverer. I tell you now that you have walked to the edge of a cliff, and your only options are to walk over it and fall into slavery and death, or walk back from it to life, freedom, and prosperity.
But then you ask: Why? Why must I leave the edge? Why can I not stay on it? The answer is: Because if you linger at the edge then you will fall.
I AYN RAND HUMANITYS GREAT CHAMPION
No one has presented a greater moral justification of laissez-faire capitalism than Ayn Rand. That is because no one before her demonstrated the moral necessity of capitalism for life to continue to exist for men to live as men.
To exist is to be something, as distinguished from the nothing of non-existence, it is to be an entity of a specific nature made of specific attributes. Centuries ago, the man who wasno matter what his errorsthe greatest of your philosophers, has stated the formula defining the concept of existence and the rule of all knowledge: A is A. A thing is itself. You have never grasped the meaning of his statement. I am here to complete it: Existence is Identity, Consciousness is Identification.Whatever you choose to consider, be it an object, an attribute or an action, the law of identity remains the same. A leaf cannot be a stone at the same time, it cannot be all red and all green at the same time, it cannot freeze and burn at the same time. A is A. Or, if you wish it stated in simpler language: You cannot have your cake and eat it, too.
Are you seeking to know what is wrong with the world? All the disasters that have wrecked your world, came from your leaders attempt to evade the fact that A is A. All the secret evil you dread to face within you and all the pain you have ever endured, came from your own attempt to evade the fact that A is A. The purpose of those who taught you to evade it, was to make you forget that Man is Man.Ayn Rand
Ayn Rand reminded us what we are. What we have always been. We are men not animals. We are meant to live as mean not animals. The preachers of altruism would have us believe that we are animals, not men. The preachers of altruism would have us believe that we are dogs, that it is our purpose to serve our masters. The preachers of altruism would have us believe that obedience is a virtue, that mindlessness is a virtue, that rejection of life is a virtue. The preachers of altruism would have us believe that to throw our minds into the void of death of ignorance and apathy is virtuous, but Ayn Rand showed us that it is not.
It is not virtuous for man to live as a dog to be kicked, as a sheep to be sheered, as a cow to be milked and butchered. Man is man, and it is only virtuous for man to live as man. The world does not exist for us to sacrifice ourselves to it, but for it to be sacrificed to us for our purposes. Man has the capacity to think, to reason, to critique, to rationalize, to understand, and therefore we must.
The liberal collectivist establishment mocked her and ridiculed her. They did everything they could to oppose her. They said her ideas were laughable and without merit. They said her ideas were not to be taken seriously. They said her works were best left unread, her voice unlistened to. The reasoning mind asks: Why do you so loudly condemn one who is not even worthy of condemnation?
The answer is: Because their words are lies. The reasoning mind asks: Why do they lie? What is the purpose? Why do they reject the truth? Who do they reject it from? From us? From themselves? The answer is: They lie because they are afraid. They are afraid to face the destruction they have inflicted upon the planet in the name of their irrational philosophies. The altruists, sociaists, statists, and collectivists have taken over academia in the world.
A political movement is the practical realization of an intellectual movement, and the purpose of this movement is to control you. Ayn Rand was a true intellectual an independent and rational mind to contrast with the intellectuals who were intellectual by name only. They were afraid for their incompetency to be exposed. They were afraid for the hypocrisy to be exposed. They were afraid of the purpose of their actions to be exposed. They were afraid to accept the reality that they did not know their own purpose.
The purpose of their collectivist intellectual movement was not known by them, but was known by their masters instead. The self-styled intellectuals were afraid to be faced with the realization that Ayn Rand was everything they claimed to be but were not, and so they lied. They lied to themselves. They lied to their students. They lied to their readers. They lied to the world. In a world of black and white, grey was the only colour they said existed. In a world of life or death, they said you could have both. Ayn Rand said you had to choose.
II BARRACK OBAMA HUMANITYS GREATEST ENEMY
Barrack Obama is a bad man. He preaches altruism for others but he does not live as one. He preaches socialism for others but he does not live as those looted by socialism, but rather he promotes legislation to carry out the looting. This is because he is a statist - but he does not preach statism. He skips the blemished reality of statism in his collectivist propaganda speeches because he wants you to believe that one can exist without the other.
Reality contradicts Obamas claims. Reality contradicts Obamas rhetoric. Reality contradicts Obamas propaganda, his deception, his claims of benevolence. Reality betrays Obama for what he is - a statist. Statism is only one step away from the complete realization of altruism - that is, totalitarianism. Totalitarianism is the necessary consequence of altruism, and Obama is an unabashed advocate of altruism for others, but not for himself.
Obama does not believe that it is good for him to others. Obama does not believe that he lives to serve others. Obama does not believe that he should toil while others benefit from his labour. Obama believes that others should do these things for him. Obama believe that we are his flock, that the only justification for our existence is to carry out his leftist social agenda. Obama believes that our lives even need justification, but they do not. Justice comes from the mind of men, and without the minds of men it therefore cannot exist.
Obama has been undermining our freedoms for 4 years now, and he will keep doing it for another 4 years if he is not impeached. Obama needs to be impeached. He is trying to take away our guns. He is trying to take away my second amendment rights. I have a right to bear arms. I have a right to be in a militia if I want. We need a militia to protect us from government tyranny. If we have our guns taken away then there is nothing to stop the government from taking the final step of establishing a totalitarian society.
Obama just goes around all day talking about how we need gun control when we dont need gun control at all. We need government regulation control because government regulation is out of control and is far more destructive than any gun is. Government regulations are taking away our rights. Taking away our ability to live as individuals for our own sake. We need the constitution to be respected again, because it is not being respected now.
Obama doesnt care about following the constitution. He just cares about how he can get around it to carry out his leftist, socialist, statist agenda. Obama wants to turn this country into a totalitarian police state with cameras in every room and on every street, watching you wherever you go. Obama ended habeas corpus so he can arrest whoever he wants whenever he wants without consequence.
He has cameras being put up all over the country so he can know where you are at all times and just arrest you for any reason he wants. He doesnt even need a justifiable reason to arrest someone anymore because without being given a trial there is no way for someone to publicly defend himself. He just gets thrown off to jail and then thats it. The media never knows. His family never knows. He just disappears.
Obama has brought us to the brink of the consequences wrought by the acceptance of altruism. We are on the edge of becoming a police state, and if America falls then the rest of the world has no hope. America was born from the love of freedom by our founding fathers, and if the child of freedom can turn into a totalitarian regime then any country can and will. Obama needs to be impeached.
