Sonata Arctica
Theocracy
Blind Gaurdian
Gravedigger
Van Canto
Kvothe_Stark
I like Sonata Arctica :)
At least their earlier stuff. Wolf & Raven and The Cage are still two of my favorite songs even if I don't listen to much Power Metal (Or ever did really).
I guess that makes 3. I like most of their stuff because it sounds fresh and different from some of the other stuff out there, although San Sebastian and Victoria's Secret sound very similar.
The Devil Wears Prada
Bring Me The Horizon
Escape The Fate
August Burns Red
The Number Twelve Looks Like You

Strangely coming from me who listens to ABR and TDWP those aint metal they are core :S i dont really classify them as metal tbh more as an offspring child of Hardcore. And i have seen 3 of those bands live and BMTH were horrible beyond all sense of the word imo.
anyhoo
Black Label Society
Megadeth
Necrophagist
Nile
Machine head
^Thank you! When my friend went to see them he said they were great live, I called bull****.

Bahaha nice. I probably would've been like you, my friend would've wanted to kiss Ollie's arse though. :/ Really glad I didn't go see them.

1) Ensiferum (Folk Metal)
2) Turisas (Folk Metal)
3) Eluveitie (Folk Metal)
4) Amorphis (Folk Metal)
5) Nightwish (Symphonic Metal)
[QUOTE="FlamesOfGrey"]This is a tough question choosing only 5 but here goes nothing: 1. Iron Maiden (Heavy Metal) 2. King Diamond (Heavy Metal) 3. Death (U.S.) (Death Metal) 4. Intestine Baalism (Japanese Death Metal) 5. Children Of Bodom (Something Wild - Hate Crew Deathrow) (Power Metal)ArmoredCore55CoB has a mix of Melo-death and Power Metal. Yes, but their instrumentation is mainly Power Metal even though Alexi has "brutal vocals" and sometimes their songs can lend themselves to other geners like Melo-Death.
I enjoy most of what they put out, especially Sleepwalker *drools*. My friend reckons they can do no wrong, he loves everything they've done.

if were talking Parkway here im gonna say guns for show, knives for a pro :P that song made me nearly go insane and rampage in the circle pit at never say die xD.
Altho Your Demise,War from a harlots mouth and Comeback kid were my highlights as the sound reinforcement at said venue was just utter terrible.
I'm seeing a lot of Parkway Drive fans. I actually didn't like their first couple of albums, but absolutely LOVED Deep Blue. I know it's the opposite for most people haha.frostybanana
Deep Blue was amazing. Horizons is probably my favorite album that they have made however.

Oh and I do hate BMTH. They're pretty much the only band I hate with a fiery passion and the fact that some of my friends eye hump that talentless hack Ollie Sykes just takes the cake.
Iceozo
I hate them too.
And I know many girls that like him as well.
I'm not just talking about the girls either unfortunatly -_-. They were doing a free show in my town and a few of my friends asked me to go, I gotta admit I did laugh hard when I heard they were doing a free show to pull people in.
Bring me the Horizon is awesome...[QUOTE="Iceozo"][QUOTE="no_more_fayth"]

Bring me the Horizon is awesome... They used to be. They've been on a strong decline ever since Suicide Season was released. As for me, I'm into a ton of metal (and its sub genres)...Curl up and Die, Suicide Silence, Killwhitneydead, Parkway Drive, anything, really.[QUOTE="Iceozo"][QUOTE="no_more_fayth"]

Bring me the Horizon is awesome... No, they're not. They're awful. Plus, they are not even "metal" Hardcore and metalcore are not metal. Please Log In to post.
