What do y'all think of this?

The people in that picture on the site look like they are an indie band posing for a publicity shot for some reason. It seems stupid to throw the guy out just because someone felt uncomfortable. Some cops may do bad things but there are still good ones. Wearing that "No police" T Shirt makes that guy look idiotic though. Like one of those teens who pretend to be anarchists to get attention.

Good. I hate cops. I pay them my tax dollars to do a job, meanwhile they expect an infinite amount of gratitude, behave as if they're above the law, and are generally douchebags towards me.F1_2004
Seems like these people were being douchebags to the cop, thought they were above him, and gave him no gratitude.
Gratitude for what? Cops aren't volunteers or good samaritans. They're college dropouts.F1_2004My dad, a police officer for 27 years graduated University with honors 3 years, try again? Also, that is a coffee shop for "anarchists" note the red and black, yeah just a bunch of degenerate losers who are afraid of doing their illegal stuff with cops around.

I knew a few anarchists back in high school who looked quite similar to the people in this picture. They were always rebeling against something. They never really understood why, they just did it out of boredom probably.

I 4th this....I don't understand why there is so much hate for the police these days. Is it the "Cool" thing to do?

Sorry Double Post.

And yet if a burglar is trying to break into your house, I bet I know the 3 numbers you're going to be dialing.
Seriously, they're peacekeepers. Don't discriminate against all cops because you met a few that were having a bad day or just being pricks. I am happy that we have cops around, as the alternative is undeniably worse.
I don't understand why they asked him to leave...its not as if he was going to stay in the cafe the entire day.

Hooray for generalizations!
I don't get this simplistic **** tha police mentality" that some people have. It really boggles my mind, especially when police do so much good on a regular basis.
Nobody deserves gratitute. We do our jobs and get paid. If we do something for free we must expect gratitude either, if you do something for free you are doing it out of the kindness of your heart, you enjoy doing it. NOT for looking for some kind of compensation. Cops are huge abusers of the law and think they are above it, they should just do their jobs WHICH they are paid to do. If they don't like it they can just quit.
They do "good" because it is their job to enforce the law not to ask for gratitude. They must have no respect for others thinking they are superior. Same goes for firefighters, politicians and military personel.
The officer didn't do anything wrong, he came in for coffee and left when he was asked to. They are a bunch of generalizing deuches.

Some cops abuse the law, not all. But of course, the only ones that get pointed out are the former.
And yes, they do deserve gratitude. Cops, firefighters, and military personnel all put their lives on the line to serve the greater good and protect people's lives and their nation. No amount of compensation equals that.
If you have a problem with that, try getting out of your comfy chair behind a computer and move somewhere out of the protection from crime officers provide you on a daily basis. I doubt you will, because like all criticizers of the police, you'll happily enjoy the fruits of their labor and then belittle their protection when they don't do their job well enough.
If they bought the restaurant, bought the food, then i think they should have the choice of allowing cops in their hippie-shack. Besides, the cop was probably some lazy bumkin trying to stare at the waitresses ass all day instead of doing their "job". That "job" is parking on a street waiting for someone to drive a little too fast.
Umm...maybe he was on break and just grabbing a coffee? God forbid that cops can have a break during the day.If they bought the restaurant, bought the food, then i think they should have the choice of allowing cops in their hippie-shack. Perhaps, but why would they kick out a cop who was just in for a minute to "grab a coffee". I think they would have no need to kick him out if he were only there for a short amount of time.

Yeah, seriously
Some people are must not understand this..It was already nice enough for the cop not to say anything when he was asked to leave for a stupid reason..

Well by the look of the picture, the kid had a "No police" shirt. They probably are not fond of cops around that cafe.[QUOTE="Gnomefan"]

Sure. I just find it to be quite funny that they want cops off the premises but when they have issues that require 911, they will gladly allow them on. It just a really hypocritical stance that many take. Just a small peeve of mine. Oh well, I can't change the world haha.lol vegan hippies.

COPS aren't really well compensated for whatmany of them do so that's why people should be more respectful towards them. Afterall if someonewhere to take you hostageyou would expect themto risk their lives to protect you.
YES, some are lazy jerks with pea sized brains and think they can go wherever they want, take whatever they want, inconvienence whomever they please as well as harass whomever they please. That's the citizen's fault for allowing their police department or departments to be socomplacent and neglectful.
