A question to my fellow Gamespoters...(edited)

Why would anyone post in a pr0n suicide thread?

Lord knows I understand the desire to push the limits of the TOU.
I also understand the desire to nudge/irritate other users...to try and get under their skin.

But what I do not understand is why people would do something here that basically says, '**** the man'
-especially when the TC told everyone that they would get modded for posting in it.
-in fact, that statement drove people to post even more...people were deliberately trying to get it to as many pages as possible...even posting 'spam, spam, spam' :?

If someone hates this place so much and hates the way it is run that much, then why stay.
There are plenty of alternatives.

I equate it to this.
You can be annoyed by/hate other people in your country.
But if you hate your country, why stay there if you have a choice

Just leaving doesn't left any impression on people, it's the equivalent of quiting from a job you hate in an extravagant way, everybody will see how you went with a boom instead of just randomly realizing someone suddenly dissapeared from the forum.

EDIT: Now I realize what you are asking, maybe when someone opens a pandora's box they just want to join in too, if not I don't know.

I have a lot of moderations, most of which I don't agree with, but posting in a suicide thread is basically you screwing yourself.

I looked at that thread, and had no intention of posting in it, but I was surprised by how many people did.

A suicide in general, people should know better than not to post in one. That one thread was definitely a suicide thread, but I think there's a great misconception between porn and nudity. Just because someone is nude doesn't mean it's porn. A lot of people don't understand that.Nerd_Man

Yeah, after seeing a few other suicides, that one wasn't really a pron suicide. It was a pretty bad suicide thread tbh.
