*SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS*

pretty funny how everybody made a HUGE fuss about Harry surviving the killing curse once when he was a baby. EVERYBODYS GONNA GO NUTS NOW THAT HES SURVIVED IT TWICE. Thats a wizarding record nobody can beat, not even dumbledore! If Harry was in the same place as dumbledore, why didn't dumbledore go back as well? Or was it just a dream.

Airio

*SPOILERS!!!** SPOILERS**

The reason Harry could go back, and Dumbledore couldn't, is that Harry still had a connection to the living world due to his connectionto Voldemort. And we can reasonably assume the King's Crossing scene wasn't just a dream based on all of the new information Harry received from Dumbledore during that encounter, which seemed to take place somewhere in Harry's mind.

If I were going to ask a question about that scene it would be why couldn't Harry's parents be there too?
Who was that raw-skinned creature in Harry's dream? (One that was making many noises). Oh! And why was Voldemort knocked out when he casted Avada Kedavra at Harry? I finished the book yesterday, it was good.

I have two theories about the raw-skinned creature. Either its the piece of Voldemort that was left inside Harry after he survived the killing curse the first time, or it was Voldemort's future if he didn't learn remorse. As for the curse turning back on Voldemort, for one, the Elder Wand belonged to Harry, so it wouldn't kill him, and two, Harry had the support of all his friends around him.
I'm sort ofglad this is the last book, another book would have made the series drag on and make it get more boring than ever
I don't think Luna and Dean got together. They did spend quite some time together at Bill's and Fleur's cottage, but thats it. Dean still seemed kinda at odds with Luna because of her uniqueness. I see more of a Luna/Neville relationship because they're always considered outkasts. Luna helped Neville with his seat during Dumbledore's funeral. Also, Luna and Neville were bringing back the D.A together. And then there was the painting Luna did on her ceiling of her "friends", and Neville was included.

Well you can't blame her for having something like that. She never really had any friends at all until she met them. Its just part of her unique personality? The latest movie didn't show enough of Luna Lovegood's character.

i was really glad when neville turned out to be a teacher at hogwarts. After the 3rd book when one of the teachers was saying that neville is absolutley hopeless at every subject except herbology, i had a feeling he would turn out to be a teacher in that subject....made me glad.
I'am still undecided whether i liked the epilogue or not. While it did explain some characters lives after, it still left some questions hanging for me.
and i think it sucked that there was no scene or anything mentioning fred's death that much. besides harry thinking "fred weasley can't be dead" that was about it...... made me kinda mad that fred just sorta died then that was it. Didn't anyone else feel horrible for George? losing a twin would be so weird
Looks like Harry Potter isn't quite done yet... J.K. Rowling said in an interview with the today show that another book is on the way. Apparently it will be an encyclopedia that explains the full stories of all the characters, as well as things that book 7 didn't quite explain. Don't click the link if you don't want spoilers, though.

thats very true they really didnt tell us anything. maybe she was settin us all up to be forced to buy the encyclopedia someone else mentioned.

but if the elder wand would not attack harry then how did he die? and you cant say he didnt die, because if he had not died then voldemort would not have been able to die, since harry's death was a prerequisite for that happening. this means that the elder wand must have killed harry back in the circle (assuming he was using the elder wand). if that is so then why could it not attack him later when it backfired and killed voldemort?
the avada kedavra voldemort used on harry in the forest killed the part of voldemort that was in harry because he was a horcrux. so technically the elder wand did not attack harry.

I found it odd that they never mentioned much of what happened to Luna. She was a fairly major character who just fell of the map. We know what happened to Harry, Ron, Herm, Neville, and hell, even Draco, but Luna is no where to be found, but aside from that, it was good.

Except I didn't like the huge explanation of everything that went down between the little discussion with Dumbledore.
Ive read it twice already, and I absolutely loved it. It is by far the best in the series, and I cannot wait until the movie comes out. The movie had better be at least longer than Goblet of Fire, there is just too much important material that needs to go into it. It was also by far the saddest book of them all, mostly due to..
Fred, Lupin and Tonks dying, not to mention Dobby. I actually laughed when Hedwig died though...lol...
I just finished it...

Note: These are actually spoilers...some people use the spoiler boxes for fun sometimes, but this is serious business...
It was so good! Even though I had predicted that Harry was the last Horcrux, the part where he realized it still got to me. :( And Dumbledore was amazing in King's Cross. I loved that part. When they make the movie, I hope they're not afraid to make it like three hours long...a lot of stuff needs to be in the movie.
Note: Spoilers above. :P

No, he couldn't have had all 3 Hallows. Voldemort still had the Elder Wand, but Harry had the Resurrection Stone and the Invisibility Cloak.
