The Mexican Army is one of the weakest in tthe world. It could not face off even an invation from other poorer Latin american countries.

Yet, there are around 50 million Mexicans living in extreme poverty. Yes, they could make a revolution, with stones and sticks if nothing else was at hand, and yes, they would win. Mexicans are mostly poor because the rich are AMAZINGLY RICH, (they have the No. 1 and 2nd richest men alive in the world), and the poor are very not willing to stand up and fight. Mexicans are not violent people.

Oh, well, just a thought.

Mexico is like Brazil, the place i was born. Many are very poor and live in overcrowded favelas while few are very rich and live in big mansions (many of them are politicians). Corruption in government is very high (they still use clientelism in Brazil). There is also a type of economic racism in Brazil. Many of the people who live in the favelas are black and mulatto while whites are usually on the top of the social hierarchy and have more money.

Guy don't talk about what you don't know. Im 100% positive that this wasn't some agenda being pushed by the Mexican military, so why should we go up against them? If one U.S. soldier shoots at an innocent civilian in China, do you believe that China has the right to declare war? The truth is that alot of people that join the Mexican military are currupt, however this does not mean that the whole nation should suffer the consequences.

right and I know the Mexican government has little to do with it. But they should be doing SOMETHING. Its their military, they need to get it together because the military represents THEM.

and I think military aciton is not asinine. drug smugglers, cartels and such are contributing to americans dying. Not all mexicans are bad. But theirs some that are, and this problem needs to be dealt with.
