Story.
15-year old girl shot her dad with an arrow because he grounded her and took her cell phone away. I'm pretty sure there's more to the story that that but we'll have to wait and see what else comes out of this.

What a brat, she isn't owed anything like a cell phone. I didn't even get my first phone until I was 17 and even then I had to do chores to earn it. Sounds like she has some mental issues and may need to go to an asylum
No no, this is why kids shouldn't have a cellphone in the first place... horgen123
If I had a child I'd look for a phone that has parental controls
Mhmm.Parents these days do not know how to discipline their children properly...the end product is a spoiled, dirty mouthed brat with no correct sense of right and wrong.

My child would have their cellphone to be restricted to calling only.[QUOTE="Firebird-5"][QUOTE="horgen123"]No no, this is why kids shouldn't have a cellphone in the first place... DroidPhysX

Inconsistancy
One of my coworkers has strict rules for his kids. Their cell phones stay downstairs on their table at night so they can't text in bed. None of his kids can create a Facebook account until they're 16. They can only play video games for one hour a day during the summer. They are pretty much well behaved. On the other hand, I run into so many kids who already have police records and are still in high school. You can see their parents pretty much don't discipline them and the results of the lack of discipline.

ouch. She has some temper problems!
Another reason for why parents should be allowed to run over their kids in a car.APiranhaAteMyVa
Adultsare more likely to commit murders than children.
And that's what that looks like.
Seriosuly, that's absolutley nutty. I can't beleive someone would do that.

He'll let them play longer if it's raining; the hour limit during the summer is to get them to play outside more so they stay in shape. They do have a swimming pool and a nice neighborhood to play in. It's better than one of my old buddies; he wasn't allowed to play videogames on school nights at all regardless of if his homework was done or not.
[QUOTE="DroidPhysX"]More of a vindication that teenagers think they're entitled to stuff like cell phones.ad1x2
Yeah, when I was 15 cell phones were the size of bricks and cost over a dollar a minute to use. Not nearly as convient as they are now.
yeah i only used mine rarely, never took it with me to school or used way to much money on it for my parents to payI'm sure she'll be alleging abuse just like that 15 year old who killed his family because they wouldn't let him get a drivers license.

You know it's a sign kids these days are not trained well when they swear and demand everything they desire.
Just last week I was rear-ended by two 16 year old punks with no driver's license.

Took the Cellphone away but let her keep the Bow and Arrow? :?

It's understandable. He didn't expect his daughter to turn into a homicidal maniac.
And the bad thing is this story is not only worse but hit closer to home since my first sergeant had to travel to Georgia for the funeral. Girls like that are really giving teens a bad name.

She'll probably get life w/o parole given how conservative Georgia is and the fact that the death penalty cannot be given to minorsI didn't get my first cell phone until I started College. What a brat, she isn't owed anything like a cell phone.
