Androids give you more options and most Androids allow you to add memory with a Micro SD card. IPhone doesn't let you upgrade the memory, you are stuck with what you paid for. They are more restrictive on what you can do as well unless you jailbreak it. I have a Droid 4 and my wife has an iPhone 4S, she is much more restricted on what she can do.Â
But in the end, it comes down to personal prefence. Some people just love Apple.
Don't forget the 3rd option. Â Windows phone. Â Or blackberry. Â You dont have to limit yourself to just 2 flavors. Â
i've always been an android user. i thought that what apple users claimed was true (that iphone is just simple to use) and thought if that's what they wanted then that's fine with me... in fact i even got my wife an iphone for her most recent phone because of this argument, thinking it would be easier for her. she hates it and after using it myself for awhile i do too.
i'm not even going to go into the details... just pretty much anything you can possibly do on a phone is more simple and less convoluted on the android and it's way more customizable and there are actually different options for hardware! imagine that...
Quick question, let as someone, such as myself, has a macBook and has all my songs and podcasts in iTunes. Would be better to go with an iPhone since iTunes/macBook sync up with that or is android compatible with my Itunes enough that it wont make a difference?Diablo-BIt's fine. I have a Macbook and iTunes as well and I have no problems whatsoever using my Android phone with them.
Removable battery and sd card slot wins out. So Android.DroidPhysXI think those two has more to do with the phone than the software running on the phone.
[QUOTE="DroidPhysX"]Removable battery and sd card slot wins out. So Android.LonelynightI think those two has more to do with the phone than the software running on the phone. This is true. There are a lot of premium Android phones (the HTC One comes to mind) that don't have a removable battery or expandable memory.

Yea, but can you run apps off the SD card? Or just the internal memory?
A lot of the newer android phones are not letting the option of putting in SD cards. They do have 32 or 64 gig storage options. I have an android phone, i could say there are more benefits compared to iphone. There are a lot more ways to customize than to iPhone.Androids give you more options and most Androids allow you to add memory with a Micro SD card. both
Â
From what I read about the new Smasung Galaxy S4, you can only run apps off the internal memory...
The Expansion memory is only for storing media like music, pictures and movies.
Â
"However, you aren't allowed to install apps on the SD card, so it's really only good for storing extra music, photos, videos, etc. That means it's still pretty easy to quickly fill up the 16 GB model of the Galaxy S4, especially if you download large apps like graphics-intense games. Samsung's 6.85 GB figure apparently doesn't take into account the extra apps carriers preinstall on the phone.

I can do it on my phone, and there are some apps that can do it as well. Â However some apps should not be moved to the SD card
[QUOTE="KHAndAnime"]Get the Android phone because it wasn't made by slave Chinese workers in sweat shops. lostrib
it probably was
Apple's big competitors and Android's most popular brands, HTC and Samsung, are not based in China. So chances are it wasn't. But if you buy Apple, you can bet it was made by some poor Chinese worker being treated like dirt by Apple because Steve Jobs liked to exploit workers for economic gain. But most of you people don't care about that because Apple is teh cool! lol[QUOTE="lostrib"]

But most of you people don't care about that because Apple is teh cool! lol Fun fact for you: Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo sell products manufactured by Foxconn. The same company that makes iPhones. Samsung has also been in trouble for poor working conditions in their Chinese factories. Other Android manufacturers like Motorola and Acer Also use Foxconn and other Chinese manufacturers. But you probably don't care about that since Apple is teh evil! loli will say android but only because of out of the dozens and dozens  of apps i have dl'd i have never paid for a single one.
it seems like my friends with iphones have to pay for everything they put on their phones.
that may not be totally  accurate or anything because i don't have an iphone but i was showing one of my buddys my apps and when he looked them up on his phone there was a charge for every one of the ones i had gotten for free.
Personally the iPhone. Recently upgraded from a 3 to a 5 and am very pleased. Think though it comes down to personal preference!
Android is obviously better, but I prefer the Iphone for it's music player. The ipod player is simply better than anything I've seen on android. YoshiYogurtPoweramp outclasses the iPod app on the iPhone. It has much better sound.
I wasn't able to tweak the EQ on the phone (it wasn't mine, and I wasn't going to adjust it for my ears, then try to revert it), but I found the quality on the iPhone much more hollow-sounding than on my Android. I used the same earbuds for both devices, so it wasn't those.
Traditionally, Apple devices have poorer sound quality than their more affordable counterparts anyway. Their earbuds are awfully tinny, too.
You know this forum now has a mobile wars board for this kinda thing?
But i guess that board is just musicalmac trolling so there's no point going there now.
