Annoying Anime.

I just started watching it and I didn't think that it was that bad. Yeah there isn't too much action, but explaining people's lives is important. holdenlowe

And if you ask me, they're pathetic Ninjas. Hardly any of them actually use STEALTH. Or for that matter, actual weapons. They all use jutsu and hand-to-hand combat. Oh, and those little sorry knives they throw around. You need a friggin' sword...katana, the signature ninja blade. Hitting someone in the face isn't going to kill them (not in this show anyway). Slashing them in the face with a sword will, however.

I dunno... I always quite liked Light. L was awesome, Melo was ok, but I didn't like Near... I was wanting Light to win lol.

What saddens me is that none of you ever get into serious discussion about anime or manga, but instead have to respond to the idiots who praise Naruto and Bleach like they are the Bible. :(

And yes, Naruto is annoying. They spend like a day closing in on someone's face and another 24 hours explaining what tactics everyone is using. That doesn't stop the manga from being much better, and that doesn't stop people from liking it, so lets talk about anime we actually love and talk about how good they are. Please?

Sousuke Sagara is simply one of the best anime characters EVER, Chidori is annoying but cute .. too agressive most of the times .. (Last episode of TSR, anyone?), I prefer Tessa a little, but we know he'll end up with Chidori, right guys?

FMP is a great anime, even though im not into mecha stuff I've seen all the episodes (FMP!, FMP? Fumoffu!, and FMPTSR), and I simply can't wait for a 4th season, FMPTSR was just too short, and the ending just left me with the "4th season now" taste in my mouth.

You have to give Naruto a chance too, if you don't like all the flashbacks you can just skip them, I didn't really liked Naruto at first, but the saga of Naruto vs Sasuke is simply amazing, I have never seen the fillers or shippuden, the manga is just so much better right now that wasting time in the anime is just not worth it for now.

I'm not going to enter a debate about other shows, but what's so great about 'Shuffle!'? I mean, people in OT praise it so much when I just see it as a simple, boring harem anime. Does some divine war break out an episode after I stopped watching it because it was so boring?

Also just wanted to say, I was never a person to get really hung up on a certain show/game/whatever, so I don't really understand the whole 'this is the best thing ever' train of thought.

i second this. this one of the few anime like. plus i like ninjas. and the second season of the ghost in the shell is boring then the first season. And the dub version of Baruto is pretty good. Naruto doesn't even say"believe it!"anymore and their using the japnese song(whic is good btw) with subtitles.

I'm putting this here just in case, even though I haven't given any spoilers, but I don't trust GS these days.

[spoiler] Naruto = generic shonen angry boy who wants to be the best ever. The show is filled with nothing, but flashbacks, filler (which spans around 80 episodes), and episodes with absolutely nothing in them, even more so than DBZ (eg. it does not take a full episode to move around a rock). Also the combat itself is overrated. Naruto has like what two or three moves? Even in Shippuddden all his new moves are based off the rasengan. If you read the manga it even proves more so why this show fails, as it's Saske who is still doing every thing. Yeah we get it Naruto had a lonely childhood, but guess what? No one really cares anymore. Just fast forward to the part where he has to most likely fight the Fourth (who is probably his father) after being summoned from the dead and that legendary Uchiha guy and becomes Hokage already. [/spoiler]

Full Metal Panic is leagues better, but I didn't like the generic male protaganist or the main girl at all. It just seems like another mech show where the girl and guy will get together eventually.
