i second this. this one of the few anime like. plus i like ninjas. and the second season of the ghost in the shell is boring then the first season. And the dub version of Baruto is pretty good. Naruto doesn't even say"believe it!"anymore and their using the japnese song(whic is good btw) with subtitles.

I personally think the new intro song in Naruto is really really bad and kiddie.

I'm not going to enter a debate about other shows, but what's so great about 'Shuffle!'? I mean, people in OT praise it so much when I just see it as a simple, boring harem anime. Does some divine war break out an episode after I stopped watching it because it was so boring?

Also just wanted to say, I was never a person to get really hung up on a certain show/game/whatever, so I don't really understand the whole 'this is the best thing ever' train of thought.

I thought it was great. it starts sorta lame and generic (still sorta funny) but then gets really dramatic the second half of the series. I was on the verge of tears at the end. (great ending imo)

You may have stopped before it got good, but it's still not foreveryone, and you may still have found it stupid.

No offense to any Naruto fans out there, but I've been watching this Marathon for a while now...and it's not plain annoying. Good action...for the actual action that's therefor five seconds When someone is going to die, near death, or has a remote chance of dying, there succeeds a 30-minute flashback that consumes the entire episode.

In real anime like Ghost in the Shell, when someone dies, they die. No 30-minute flashback of his or her training, no LIFE STORY, that's it. You're dead. There we go.

I also find it annoying when someone uses some complex tactic and then explains it to the enemy after he did it Why? Do the writers put it in there for the people who couldn't comprehend what just happened? Gah...this is just annoying to me. They talk way too damn much in shows like Naruto...not nearly enough action.

just to defend it for a second, which is all i am physically capabale of doing before every logical part of my brain overrulles this, they really f-ed the english version up. the japanese version subbed was a LOT better. but still, i don't like that show anymore. i got to like episode 60, and then it's all fillers and stupid stuff till the second season. overall, its dumb as a show everytime they fight, the same thing ends up happening over and over. it really gets on your nerves after a while. people who like ninja stuff should see the old show ninja scroll, instead of this crap.

You seem to have mixed up Naruto with Evangelion in that case.

Omg Evangelion was the stupidest thing i ever seen it didn't even make sense.

Evangelion was sub par, it isn't worth the hype, what is worth the hype, however, is Hellsing.

Seriously, the funny thing about anime fans that bash Evangelion is that 95% of them just didn't "get" the series (of those I've met at least). I can honestly say the only other anime I personally can stand is Ghost in the shell, the rest is just not worth watching IMHO. How someone can waste time watching 300 Naruto episodes is beyond me.

I didn't watch hellsing for the complex plot and character development, I watched it because of the action scenes, which were everywhere, like 300. I just ordered volumes 1 and 2 btw.
