Of course not, that guy is just an idiot :roll:, I don't like rap music myself and I'm not a racist.
Well I hate rock and roll and other type for it so if that makes u a racist then Im a racist tooThere was a black guy sitting next to me on the bus today. He was blasting rap music out of his Ipod, and, for a second, took his earphones out. I asked him politely to turn it down. I said: "Could you please turn that down, I don't like that kind of music." He stood up.
"Racist."
Racist! He calls me a racist! He walks to the back of the bus, leaving the last traces of out conversation with him calling me a racist!
Is that true? Am I a racist for not liking rap?

actually you are racist.
simple reason: everyone likes the cIassic ice ice bay by the artist vannilla ice, a white male. so you like at least one rap song, what's wrong with other rap songs? the artists aren't white enough for you? racist.
[QUOTE="harperseth"]
Wouldn't you be mad if someone told you to turn down whatever music you were listening to because they don't like it? Who says someone should be able to regulate what volume your ipod is at based on what they think of your music...I dont think you were racist but I think that you were very rude.
drufeous
The one blaring the music is rude. It's for personal enjoyment, not for everyones enjoyment. Turn it down a bit and everyone is happy. How is someone else rude for asking him to turn it down regardless of his taste in music?
They were both rude. He didn't ask for the music to be turned down because it was too loud, he asked the guy to turn it down because he didn't like the type of music he was listening to. That implies that he probably wouldn't have said anything if he had liked the other guys music.
TC, you could have just asked him to turn his music down. You didn't have to offer your opinion on his music.
Black guy calls you racist and then takes himself to the back of the bus? Anyone else see the irony?
Anyway, the guy is an idiot. Not for being black (obviously), but thinking that a style of music is tied to any one race. Is Eminem black?

I also lol'ed at that bit,it knew deep down that the better days are over and thus gave you a taste of what a good world is like :)
you have issues,No. i dont like the way the music sounds. Eminem sings rap and i still hate it. he's white.
