Whenever I choose not to post a message, it is usually because I could not word my response to my own standards. I frequently type a message only to decide against posting it when I do not like the way it sounds. So no, I am not afraid of what other people will think of my post, but of what I will think of it.
The 80+ moderations I've gotten since 2007 say no. I really don't care if some sad loser on the internet gets offended by something I said and goes running to the internet police.

I am because I actually signed up not so long ago. But I started visiting this Forum and never felt like making an account. Now I'm a bit shy of posting because of my bad english and posting in the wrong section :S
Not at all. There are occasions that I attempt to be careful with my words, sure, but never am I actually scared to post. The same goes for speaking in life. I do not fear saying such things as "sin is an abomination to God and we all deserve no less than eternal hell" but I always attempt to say such things in the correct context with the notion that I am not intending to be judgmental.
I wouldn't say I'm scared to post, but I often write out a response to a thread, read it, decide it sounds stupid, and then delete it without posting anything.
It seems like half the time I post anything someone jumps on it and it starts some two hour debate, often regarding some trivial aspect and we almost always ignore my original point. Other times I am alone debating againstfive otehr users...but I'm used to being a minority.maybe it's just the way I say things? :?
I'm most afraid of people finding out about my homosexuality. I try to avoid it by talking about opposite-sex marriage and pretending to be interested in women.Genetic_Code

To think I came in here to finally see genetic code come out of the closet after so many hints dropped on TDH and in his blog, and then I get to find this... You and I both know the smaller paddles weren't getting the job done. Also, congrats GC. Day is off to a fabulous start. >_>

I never associated them with cookies...candy maybe, but never a cookie. I guess if we had to pick one though, cookies and cream would be the best choice
I just post my honest opinion, and rarely check back for responses; at least not on a board as busy as this where there's going to be 25 new topics next time I check in. If you don't give your honest opinion, you might as well not post anything.
I think reasonable, mature people won't have any problem with other people's opinions. It's only the immature, angry children who have to start flaming people, and who cares what they think anyway? I certainly don't.
I've never been scared to post, but whenever I write some big post regarding my opinion in some debate thread I've trashed them 100% of the time because I always end up thinking, "Wow, what a load of garbage I've just typed up."
Obviously I think about how my post will affect others, but I still post. Generally, at least online, people get very defensive and resort to personal attacks instead of defending their arguments. Actually, I encounter this a lot in person too.
No, but that's probably why I get modded alot. If I spell something wrong I'll just leave it I don't believe in the "backsapce" button haha did it there not on purpose.
