Thats Slim to me but the abs on a woman im on about are these

GROSSS right?

AussieePet
Yeah. You can tell the girl I posted has abs, but they're not cut in to the same depth and you don't see veins everywhere. :?
[QUOTE="CptJSparrow"]That's not slim, that's disturbing. Though my brother-in-law was 6'4'' and 135lbs and a very good wrestler, so the build sometimes has its advantages.BluRayHiDef

Is he still the same weight?

Lol, no. He's 260 now.

I always thought that being skinny means having neither fat nor muscle. I certainly don't have huge muscles, but I do have muscles on my body. I'm not like this. Anyhow, what's your definition of "slim"? Also, why'd you laugh?

BluRayHiDef

Yeah that is skinny when you have no muscles or fat where do you have muscles ? my diffinition of slim is the pic of the girl CPTJ showed me if you saw it? Plus that pic fo that skinny kid is funny needs some weight on him

So, I don't look as if I have muscles? How about this?

Ironically you look a lot skinnier in this one.

I am (well maybe was cause I'm not working out right now) an athelete and bodybuilder that stopped lifting weights and working out and all that muscle turned to fat in a month in a half and I gained 20lbs. Then I *Yao Ming face* didn't care and ate and gained 20 more lbs and then a year ago I worked out again lost all the weight in six months and three months after that I put it all back on. Being short I was always a stalky buff guy but now I am extremely stalky and husky...and yes I will accept it overweight. But you know what? *Yao Ming Face*

No. Being that lean looks unhealthy only when you don't have muscles. One of my best friends used to look just like your first pic, and he was the healthiest, most energetic person I've met. If I were you I'd bulk up more though.

I was just wondering. Maybe I could be a feather weight boxer. :P

If I wanted to bulk up, I assume that I'd have to eat at least 5000 calories per day.

Not exactly. Just eat more calories than you use. It doesn't have to be a set number, but you bulk up faster, the more you ate. You also need protein, vitamins and minerals.

I don't count, but I know I eat at least 2000 to 2500. For example, today I had the following for lunch:

  • Fifteen small carrots and three marble-sized tomatoes.
  • One raisin-wheat bagel.
  • Four slices of wheat bread.
  • Two strips of lettuce.
  • Four slices of tomatoes.
  • Two slices of provolone cheese.
  • Two beef burgers.
  • Four slices of oat Nut bread with peanut butter and jelly.

I normally eat breakfast, but didn't have any today.

The girl I posted has noticeable abs, she's just not at like 6% body fat like the girl you posted... probably around 10%. And yes I would, it's better than being fat or being underweight and skinny. I see lots of girls who are like 120lbs or less, average height, and just don't look healthy or have energy. That's a bit of a turn off, though like I said in the other thread not a dealbreaker.

Interesting. Very different diet from mine: -Breakfast: six eggs, biscuits, gravy, two glasses of milk -Lunch: 1/2lb meat, veggies, rice or potatoes, two glasses of milk -Snack: 20g whey (lo carb blend) in 16oz milk -Dinner: 1/2lb meat; beans, carrots, broccoli, two glasses of milk. I gained 30lbs in four months on a version of this diet that used 32oz of milk with each meal. Going to swap biscuits and gravy for 1/4lb bacon soon - too many carbs. The bigger you get, the slower your lean gains are and the more your fat gains want to catch up. Used to have orange juice but I get vitamin C from a multivitamin sans the simple sugars. I net ~3,000kcal a day though I'm probably consuming ~4,000. Edit: also a gallon of water a day. And on the weekends I only have 1-2 meals.

Because Siberia's idea of slim is very well known and is basically common knowledge at this point.

we dont need to know anything about siberia. i guarantee u without researching that there are at least x2 more fat people in america

The idea of slim, not how many slim people there are, is what I was facetiously referring to. Yes, though I'd wager 10x more, at the very least.

I've stopped eating traditional breakfast foods (eggs, biscuits, pancakes, sausges, etc.) because I don't think they're healthy. I used to eat them a lot. Now, for breakfast I eat Raisin Bran cereal with whole milk, fruit (cantaloupes and some other fruit I can't name), and two raisin-wheat bagels.

Oh really? I usually take MM Sport, but I am trying something different right now. As far as proteins go, I use Opti-Whey from GNC or Elite. I also take creatine occasionally because it works so well and I've only seen positive results when I use it. Do you mean the Army Physical Fitness Test? I don't what they had you do, but there may have been other factors.

Yeah it's pricey. Google says almost $30 for 1/2lb. I'll stick with meat, preferably fish.... can get 2lb of swai at Wal-Mart for $12.

[QUOTE="BluRayHiDef"]

Have you heard of tempeh? It's a vegetable that 31g of protein per cup.

That sounds great, but is it a complete protein? I heard soy protein lacks an essential amino acid

[QUOTE="BranKetra"] Oh really? I usually take MM Sport, but I am trying something different right now. As far as proteins go, I use Opti-Whey from GNC or Elite. I also take creatine occasionally because it works so well and I've only seen positive results when I use it. Do you mean the Army Physical Fitness Test? I don't what they had you do, but there may have been other factors.

Yeah coming off of creatine was a b!tch but after eating more and switching from Stronglifts5x5 to the one body part per day method I started gaining again. Yeah, the Army Physical Fitness Test. It was just a 2mi run and I was very well hydrated and fed the day before. I haven't gotten that dehydrated since. If someone hadn't picked me up off the ground it would've been lights out.

Skinny but in shape. I can run a mile in 4 minuets. And I lift weights to tone what muscles I do have.

I'm curious about how much you taking because this is the first time I've ever talked to someone who has had a bad experience with creatine. I mean, you only really need 5 grams a day, but I've taken 10 for a week at a time. Anyway, I was doing 5x5 lifts and the GOMAD diet to bulk up. Worked like a charm. Not to mention the effort. I switched to splits, too and I'm still making gains. Good thing they did.

5g a day. When I was on creatine and a 50g protein supplement I could do splits and PT no problem but not now. Might just be that my protein intake decreased when I stopped GOMAD.

I see. I'm not really sure what the problem was, then.
