I want to see those nerd credentials so if you identify yourself as one of our kind, tell us what makes you a nerd.

* I am a HARDCORE Star Wars fangirl, which automatically puts me at the top of the nerd food chain. :lol:

* I'm a PC nerd and could embarass most GeekSquad members with my vast knowledge. :P

* I won a Bausch & Lomb (The Silver Star of Nerdom) in high school.

* I was also a member of National Honor Society, debate team, student council, science bowl team, academic team (math and science), spell bowl team and Knowledge Masters team.

* I am a founding member of a local book club.

* I have been a hardcore gamer most of my life and have been involved with three clans that competed in leagues and ladders. And I was recently invited to be part of a professional gaming clan, which I will be accepting and joining this week.

* I have a turtle.

* I love reading about and discussing philosophy.

* I love to read in general and have probably read more books than most people twice my age. :shock:

I love Halo and Mass Effect soundtracks.

I think that's all.

i guess the term"geek" fits me better,as to i spend lots of time on things i like but no matter how hard i try, i'm terrible at them,except drawing.

I am, but I guess it seems a little egotistical to list interests and hobbies as "nerd cred." I think what I like is cool, and that's pretty much it.

-I know PCs inside and out.

-I like reading.

-My English is well.

-I watch the Science and History channels more than any other.

-I type 90 words per minute with few errors.

That's about it I think.

Edit: I'm a gamer...hardcore gamer actually. I play at least 4-8 hours a day make my place in a clan. A lazy clan who can't even set up a gamebattles. We are also unofficial. But we are the best I've known those guys for 2-4 years. We are the best.

I've got a collage poster of all my childhood videogame favorites.

I've got the first issue of The Doom Patrol hanging on my wall.

I've got a claymore hanging on my wall.

I really dig the Star Wars movies.

I've got a massive number of comicbook related shirts in my closet.

I'm big into sci-fi books.

I'm in all AP classes.

I read a lot.

I'm a hardcore gamer.

I've got a Batman symbol spray painted on my wall.

I think this is more of a shame list...

I am also a Star Wars super fan. I was a member of National Honor Society, SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions), Student Council Treasurer, Phi Theta Kappa, Kappa Beta Delta (last two are from college), and an Honor Roll student for every quarter throughout all of grade school. I also played football and baseball in school (I know not nerd but still). I like to read Star Wars books when I have the time. And of course I am a super video game freak.Victors_Valiant

I studied about flowers.

I've seen The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring at least 132 times.

I love JRPGs and SRPGs.

I was in Honors and AP classes.

I translated many, many random words to Latin to use as character names in video games.

I've now memorized those words.

I love reading.

I am a computer programmer. 'Nuff said. I have a degree in nerd. Plenty of credentials too, but none are needed after that statement.

I don't think I qualify anymore :( But I was a huge nerd when I was younger.

Grammar School:

I won was on the principal's honor roll all through grammar school. I only got 3 B's in my life at that point.

Won the school spelling bee

Was on the chess team for 5 years

Captain of the Chess team for 2 years

Was huge into Pokemon

Won the school science fair 3 times

Was valendictorian

Won a poetry contest :P

Went to Math camp

Was on the Math team

Went to summer school for the grades ahead of me

High school:

I was big into building computers

Played Quake 3 and Unreal tournament nonstop

Started watching a lot of anime

Tutored in my off time

Was a big Math geek

Then college and girls and jobs came around and stole my inner nerd away :(

I do go on nerd binge every so often but I mainly satisfy my nerd needs with biographies, documentaries, video games every so often, and the occasional anime.

I have vast knowledge of the star wars expanded and movie universe. I've seen every episode of star trek TOS a couple of times. I am a hardcore gamer, used to be in a top 25 man guild in WoW did hardmodes, high rated in arenas, high rated in starcraft 2, good KDRs in all shooters. I know how to 100% a lot of games, and where to catch every pokemon. That's all i got.FrostyPhantasm
