I'm not really sure what's considered stereotypically nerdy but just for fun...

• I've been in advanced math from 6th to 9th grade.
• I enjoy watching the history channel and documentaries.
• I like reading books and biographies.
• I played my first videogame when I was five (road rash) and I've been playing ever since.
• I go to wikipedia and read random pages pretty often.
• I was a participant in my 3rd grade spelling bee, won my fifth grade spelling bee and came 14th out of 60-something people in the district bee that same year. I also got honor roll all through elementary and middle school.
• I know html.
• I'm quite socially awkward. I was diagnosed with a minor case of social anxiety disorder.
• I like pokemon
• I'm a grammar nazi.
• I'm on a gaming forum

I think that's it.

I'd definitely say so.

I'm a bio major and philosophy minor just because I like the subjects.

I read science journals for kicks.

I go to every science related function on campus that I can make time for.

I read a ton of books

I think math is awesome

I know how to use every function on a TI84 graphing calculator

I play magic the gathering

I own 200+ video games

1. I play World of Warcraft :P

2. I watched all for seasons of Battlestar Galactica in less than two weeks

3. I enjoy scifi and fantasy movies more than any other (excpt for scifi horror :D which I lvoe above all else)

I work with computers and network equipment for a living

I've been playing video games since day 1

I get pretty involved with Fantasy Football and Baseball

I don't consider myself a nerd, even though i play tons of video games, build websites, and solve the rubiks cube very fast.

I'm just me, I just like the things that I like without really caring about what other people think, if the things that i like end up being considered nerdy then honstly I don't care.

Sometimes, politics also perk my interest.

I love to write stories and poems whenever I get bored.

Alright, but let's face it, we're nerds. So what? What about those guys that paint their faces like clowns at sports games and throw a hissy fit when their favorite team's goalie wasn't competent to save the last minute? Because I have a lot of friends that love hockey and do that whenever it happens. Every week, as a matter of fact.

-I love English and all forms of literature.

-I love discussing philosophy.

-I'm an avid player of Dungeons & Dragons, and tabletop RPGs in general.

-I'm an avid player of Magic: The Gathering.

-However, I have moved on from trying to take video games "seriously" and have moved onto the "casual gamer" level -- I don't attempt to compete in clans and leagues any more, I play them for fun. :)

I'm a nerd, sure. Not in the social sense, though. I know how to smile and nod and be talkative and overall charismatic. But people will roll their eyes if they hear me talk about D&D or games or films and such.dreDREb13

Hmm lets see.....

I've been an avid video gamer since I was 4 years old (28 now).

I play Magic: The Gathering tournaments at least once a week at a local hobby shop.

The above hobby shop is also a regular hang out place for me and my roomie, to the point where he has a set of keys for the place.

Aside from being a gamer, I'm also an industry follower (like most people who post here). Names of specific developers, what titles devs are working on, what their relation is to certain publishers.

I own a few thousand dollars worth of Warhammer product.

Anything from Jim Butcher or Joss Whedon is pure nerd gold IMO.

I think NES era video game soundtracks (Castlevania and Mega Man in particular) are heavy metal as all hell. \m/ >.< \m/

Until I moved recently, I had a video game collections of a few hundred games dating all the way back to the NES.

Big fan of old school comic books.

I have an extensive collection of action figures.

I played D&D back in middle and high school. To the point that I had created my own campaign world by the time I was in high school.

I'm sure I could go on and on but that's the broad strokes haha.

I'm an "inside nerd" according to my boyfriend and that is one of the reasons he dates me.

From the outside you probably can't tell I'm a nerd but if you get me talking I sound like one. I'm a big Metal Gear Solid fangirl and I do not personally know any other girls who play it. Really, I don't know any guys who play it either. Sometimes I randomly get carried away talking. Like once I started comparing Game and EB Games on their console and game deals and so on and the boyfriend was like "Megan, you're such a nerd."

So yeah, I guess I am.

EDIT: I'm not smart though, I'm as dumb as a pile of bricks :(
