Only for a good reason like if we were invaded by paratroopers like in Red Dawn. I would not sacrifice my life or want to sacrifice anybody else's life to murder brown people on the other side of the planet.
I suppose I would be willing to die for a cause I believe in, and if my country goes to war FOR that cause then yes. Examples of such causes would have to be pretty major though e.g. World War 2 type stuff. Not Vietnam/Korean war type stuff.
