Christianity is basically the "sequel" to Judaism. So before Christianity there was the Old Covenant. NuclearNerd
So what about all those people whole lived too far away from ancient Israel to even hear about it, or the Jewish monotheistic faith?
Were they condemned for hell because they had the poor judgement to be born in the wrong geographical location?
And really, some people getting so mad at God. NuclearNerd
No, little buddy, most people are mad at certain worshippers of said alleged god, who use things written in a book several centuries ago as an excuse to commit the most appalling atrocities the twisted human mind can come up with.
Besides, how can you be mad with something you don't believe existing?
Jesus Christ came down to Earth, suffered excrucating pain and torment eventually dying on the cross JUST TO SAVE YOU NuclearNerd
Except it's nothing but more Christian fairytales, and has absolutely no meaning, unless you already practice this religion.
and rose again. NuclearNerd
Well, then there was really no merit to his sacrifice if he knew from the beginning that he's coming back, now, don't you think?
It's really, really not that hard. NuclearNerd
Yeah, it kinda is, buddy - why should I subscribe under your definition of the creator?
There's a few dozen different faiths out there, each with it's own, perfectly good explanation of the creation, and our part in it, so what makes your personal choice so special? What if some other faith is right, and your is wrong? In that case, both of us are going to hell!
You want to spend your life complaining that "Oh I can just curse God and willingly not believe in Him, and if he wants to pass judgement on me after this life is over well, he should have made it even easier." NuclearNerd
And what if you're the one wasting your life? What if you waste your time on meaningless ceremonies and pointless gestures in order to win the favor of your favorite sky pixie so he let you into his exclusive sky-club where all the cool guys hang out ofter they die, only to find out that the only thing you get to do in your afterlife is to rot in the ground, and maybe sprout some tree with pretty flowers?
Have you considered that possibility?
