I'm Agnostic, and I would probably say something like "Imagine that." Now what would you christians say if you die and end up comming face to face with Allah?TyrantDragon55

I'm Atheist, but if I were Christian, I'd probably say, "My virgins are which way?"

But how can the same animal exist millions of years ago evolve when some dont and just stay the way they are? Cause isnt evolution based on the fact the people and animals are always changing and getting bigger and getting stronger?

CptJSparrow

If an organism is suited to survive, it will. If a species is not suited to survive at a given time, it will become extinct. That is all there is to it; there is no drive to become stronger or bigger. The tardigrade is perhaps the most well-adapted specie on Earth, and it is both microscopic and physically impotent.

You agree evolution is a slow process right? Why have we not found fossils (millions of them), that i dont know say a fish with its legs growing? There should be a tonne of them in the world. yet there is not.

Here is a simple question to you Atheist.

If god is real and lets say you die. Lets also say you are bought before him ok, to i dont know plead your case.

Now you are Atheist, you did not beleive in God when you died and lets say he gives you a chance to explain yourself to him.

What will you say to a god. What will you say in your defence against the all perfect and powerful being?

To be fair i will answerquestion that Atheist are likely to ask. What if god doesnt exist and i die?

Well it wont really matter cause my existence and concsious will be deleted and i will have no will.

123625

I will ask him why there were so many events in my life that caused me to be turned away by the church. Why he only sent arrogant preachers who presumed they knew about my life, to try and 'save' me. Why he never answered a single one of my questions in my entire life, even in a subtle way. Why the followers of Him in my area are so hateful and prejudiced.

If he can answer those questions for me, I won't care about my fate. I don't necessarily believe there can't be a god, but that no God has shown any evidence of existing, to me personally. So maybe I'm not an atheist, but then again, right now I'm thinking that when I die, my body over time decomposes, and my consciousness ceases to be. Life is over when it's over.

So if He can answer those questions(if it so happens like this when I die) and make sense and show what his plan was for me, and how I steered off course...then I'll be more than willing to admit I'm guilty.

Because it's not that simple. There isn't just a "transition fossil" for every species, because changes are much more subtle than that. Evolutionary biologists have determined through observing changes in bone structure and other factors that the "transition fossils" that you so desperately seek are can either be incredibly similar to the same creature, or it can seem transeversely different all together. You have the narrow view that an animal just suddenly *poof* turns into another, and then another. It doesn't work like that at all. If you need evidence of this, do your own research. This has been absolutely proven.

I have already informed you that (1) fossils are extremely rare, and (2) every single organism is a transition to another.

The theory of evolution is proof, as is the entire fossil record which consequently backs up the theory of evolution. As are the laws of genetics, which similarly back up the previous two conjectures. If you need irrefuatble proof, pick up a thousand page book written on the subject by an evolutionary biologist. Because I really don't wish to compile a novel of scientific theory into a forum post.

We have found fossils like that. http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2006/04/060406100543.htm

Behold.

Ok you foundone. But your missing my point there should be transitional fossils for every animal. From saya mouse to bird no? there should be a tonne of them. But no there isnt. And who is to say that animal didnt just became extinct?

I have already informed you that (1) fossils are extremely rare, and (2) every single organism is a transition to another.

Please give me some direct irrefutable proof of this.

You're pushing the whole irrefutable proof thing pretty hard for someone who believes in Christianity.(I don't have any problem with Christianity, but the there isn't any proof involved in it)
