Yeah, this is exactly what I was gonna say. I usually don't care what people say about my music but when someone says Metallica is emo, I go out of my way to correct them. It's ridiculous cause I guarantee that they've never even heard a song by them and just assume it's emo because it's metal. Whatever, the kids who say that listen to Soulja Boy

I have a bestfriend who is a die hard Death Metal/Black Metal fan and I listen to indie, rock techno, and general rock music. He makes fun of me for listining to bands like Chevelle and Black Light Burns. He forgives me because I love all Doom Metal.
Other then that I make fun of people for what they listen to.

lol Chevelle is cool. I have a friend that likes a general type of music. A certain type of metal and once told me The Beatles suck and I just laughed.
That is the only time I have had someone make fun of music I listen to.

Incubus' Follow from the halo2 track was awesome. I can still remember nailing banshees everytime I listen to that song. Its probably one of my favourite songs EVER.
Without a doubt its either one of my 2 favorite bands, The Smashing Pumpkins or Nirvana. People always say "Nirvana's hella overrated" or "kurt sucks as a guitarist" its sad for them to realize that you may draw those conclusions from some nirvana signles but there albums were masterpieces. Same with SP i always get stuff like "There lead singers voice is annoying" or "Today is like there only good song" when in reality for the time frame that this band came out, it did everything every other band was doing X's10, SP albums were so ahead of there era, im so glad i lived through the 90's.

Pretty much everything, especially if it's from earlier then 1995, everyone is into hip hop, rap rnb and emo music with a bit of nu metal thrown in, oh well, their loss.
Disturbed.. i have a lot of friends who like rap, rnb etc and they don't like heavier stuff have a laugh at it. Not that it matters.. i have lots of friends who do like it too.
They don't make fun of me, but when they are going through the songs on my Zune they are like WTF? : Yeah Yeah Yeahs and The Organ, I can't think of anymore right now.
Thats never happened to me, but I do make fun of one of my friends who likes My Chemical Romance and m,y friends who like Panic at the DiscoWaffle_Fish
