What are some bands that listen to that other people think is a little weird. I listen to James Blunt, Kaki King, and Headstones. My friends always rip on me for thosekuenbre

As for me, I love jazz and that can definitely raise some eyebrows. No bands in particular.

People laugh at me when I hear those bands too. The funny part is that they hear songs without meaning ( Soulja Boy, Low, and lot´s of commercial crap).

Well I've been made fun of before for listening to Muse, Radiohead, Placebo(alot), Coheed and Cambria, Bright Eyes, The Killers, Arctic Monkeys, the Arcade Fire, some pop/punk popular bands like Panic! at the Disco and Falloutboy, although i dont really listen to them that often, they're on my mp3 players from a while ago when i used to listen to that kind of music and people look at my mp3 player and go "EWWW!! Falloutboy!!!" Also, from people here, Nickelback, they're not my fave or anything but i dont see why all GS Forumers hate them so.

Classic music in general, you know, Beethoven, Mozart? Oh, and Trans-Siberian Orchestra, because everyone is malinformed and thinks they are an actual orchestra.Grodus5

I've been laughed at most of the times I've mentionned I love Jazz... people can't recognise the beauty of it.

Then again, I do realise it's not the type of music you can listen to anywhere/anytime

DragonForce. It's like half and half split whether people like me for it or hate me for it. It's mostly because I happen to own a DragonForce shirt and wear it quite a bit because it looks cool.

When I wear it, half of the people who comment on it come up to me and say "Oh! DragonForce is awesome! Through the Fire and the Flames is the best song ever!" (so most of the people in this category are just guitar hero nerds).

The other half of people who comment on it tell me about how all DragonForce ever does is play really fast and how they don't understand how anbody could possibly like Through the Fire and the Flames (because they obviously don't understand that DragonForce made more than one song...)

The only thing I'm really annoyed about with this is that I don't even like DragonForce THAT much. They're good and all, but they're not like my favorite band or anything.
